Probably the best review so far on this mower, I’m currently on the fence on buying one.

Thank you! It really depends on your yard layout and how often you have to turn. Overall, it’s a solid unit. I might even suggest the non-self propelled unit if you don’t mind pushing and don’t have a ton of leaves.

Kudos to Green Machine for allowing real transparency on their product. This is becoming rare amongst the lawn care community. Everything has pros and cons (including the stuff I own and love). This kind of honesty is greatly appreciated. Thank you Lawn Mentor and GM!

I just want to say when I incurred the “issue” with the self propel, I did reach out to them to give them a chance to make it right. However they let me know it is actually normal expected function. So, take it or leave it I guess! Still a solid unit.

Have you had an issue with the sensor that shuts off the mower if the grass is too thick? Mine is extremely sensitive and doesn't want to stay on long enough to mulch even leaves on the ground. I had a hard time when I got my mower and don't like contacting them because of it. Have you had any issues with the sensor? If so, did you take any measures to correct it?

I love mine. I got mine fall of 23. It mulches pretty decently so idk if they changed something. Its a great entry-level Electric Mower. It does come with 2 batteries, and they charge quickly. I have killed both batteries because I was using the self propel, and i used that time just to take a break. I dont last as long as 2 of those batteries... haha.
@ta77da5 ай бұрын
I have this mower and for some reason each of the 2 batteries I purchased will run maybe 10 minutes then shut down. The indicator on them flashes red for overheated .This is on a fairly moderate evening temperature wise. Once one does it the other will do the same immediately upon attempting starting.I have not been able to find info on the manufacturers website, just wondering if there is a solution to this issue.

Single point adjustment and 62V, steel deck, all very good. I don't like that it doesn't cut at 4". Agreed on the self-propel settings vs self paced. I like the adjustable lever, but the 3 clicks is weird. The self propel would be a big learning curve for most people I think. Seems short person friendly though lol. You hit all of the important points Kyle.

Appreciate your review… I have been looking at this as an alternative to the Ryobi HP 40V crosscut mower. Ryobi/Home Depot just increased the price to 799! I really liked the dual blade mulchingfeature, yet I can purchase nearly 2 of these for that price point. I have most of the Ryobi 40V tools which is why I wanted to stay with them. Green machine provides an excellent value, and despite the self-propelled Ratcheting thumb switch nuance… Not enough of an issue with me. My only question is does this roll easily…& How does this feel to push it manually? Most people don’t mulch the leaves into the lawn and would use the bagger function, so I would assume that like most mowers it would pick up most leaves, especially with a lower height setting… It looks like a “military beast” 🪖and I believe the value would justify adding a different brand battery and charger… I also like their hedge trimmer…which is one of the few yard tools that I do not presently have. You did not touch on the warranty which is the same as Ryobi and or Ego… five years… And three on the battery. Also this comes with two batteries and a charger which would justify the price difference over the manual push mower which only has one battery and charger. I think I just sold myself as I have been on the evaluation fence On a Ryobi alternative. It would be my luck 🤷🏻♂️that once I purchase this mower that green machine will remedy the design of their current speed throttle switch🧐🤨😅😎

Yeah it rolls pretty good! I had to manually maneuver it around corners and stuff. It worked fine!
@stewardship81472 жыл бұрын
@@TheLawnMentor Thanks, you can’t physically assess them at a Home Depot as they are not stocked yet. My lawn is mostly flat and the self-propelled feature is nice to have, but I would probably push it manually most of the time at my own pace and just wanted to make sure that it did not have any resistance. The reviews I read regarding the manual push mower rolls pretty good and this should not be much different. My old. Gas mower was self-propelled, and the mechanism broke and is not worth fixing and I push it manually. It’s great way to stay in shape!😅
