i feel like they could’ve buffed healing by a tiny bit. like +5 heals for all support. since the players have a larger health pool, it’s only natural that they don’t boost the healing because that kind of defeats the point of high health, but healing will end up being too weak.

@@pukas7419 i agree. it’s just too much. along with the random. -20% healing for dps??? the devs are raising up everytbing but healing. everything for support still remains the same in terms of healing. same ammo, same healing output - to a now 750 health mauga and now 250-300 health dps😭 im not playing support this season

​@@jyhmz Healbotting is never gonna be a problem if you all commit to executing people with low health, position properly as DPS, have support LOS in mind and actually hit your shots, make impact. Oh and remember to use health packs at that. The only wrong way to play is to disregard your teammates presence and what each person is doing in a 5v5.

@@jyhmz and if you do more damage for example as life weaver and moira, then who’s going to heal the extremely high health heroes? the support was fine as it was, me personally i’m not even a healbot, but this hero health pool + decreased 20% healing will make it even harder to do damage. use your head.

The survivability of mercy feels good. more health, better sympathetic recovery, small GA buff. But dear Jesus her healing beam is a wet noodle now

Sympathetic recovery can get effected by the dps passive so it’s not really that good

@@Yourouy yes but it still comes out on top, when you and your beam target are under the passive then it breaks even with the old amount. If it's just your beam target you still get more than before and if neither of you are under the passive then you get quite a lot of regen tbh. It's really strong in valk now

Mercy still feel like the weakest support rn especially in our Asia server. Not sure why the devs can't see this. I guess it's the same reason why they'd rather make big changes to the entire game rather than addressing the antiheal nade and suzu problem.

Mercy has a great voiceline which accurately explains how it feels healing in Season 9. "Sometimes I'm not sure why I even bother". It feels like you will get more worth just glocking the moment your target needs healing and there's even more than a 1v1. Its a joke.

I’m a Moira main so I’ve been watching Arx_UK play Moira ranked and all of the work he put into Moira university no longer works with season 9. From what I learned, healing is useless and applying more damage is key to winning. I look forward to watching more videos from you this season and how you’ve been adapting to the changes. ❤

Healing a tank as mercy is just... I had a game with a Winston in which kiriko and I were pocketing the shit out of him, he was almost perma critical and we had no time at all to try and get picks (kiri) or dmg boost, we were both heal bots and at that point why even play mercy, just pick a support that heals more 😔 And I won't even talk about the match I had with a Mauga 💀💀💀 double support pocket and we couldn't keep him alive in his own damn ult for more than 3 seconds

If a tanks doesn't have a shield or other meansof blocking dmg it's nearly impossible to heal them. You can't miss a roadhog and thus he has anti constantly.

i think this new dps passive is too strong. 20% is too much. they need to nerf it to 10% and it'll be good. cus sometimes i cant even feel that i am helping my team in fights bc of that :( this gonna be hard season for supports.

So I recently broke my thumb, and I have to wear a cast. I play on the switch (connected to a tv + controller) so I use my index finger on the joystick so from someone struggling a bit to play, here's things I've noticed a lot recently. ♡ Pocketing Sojourn and Soldier is much better to get damage boost for being a little further away (so is Ashe) ♡ No matter what Genji's will blame you even if you pocket them (Had 8+ games where I pocketed a Genji and they said I didn't heal them.. sad.) ♡ Tanks are going to blame their supports for not healing, even if they have more healing then the enemy ♡ DO NOT slingshot into the open, or sight line of the enemy. You will almost always be punished in seconds. (Also goes for super jumping into the air with no cover ♡ Be weary for Sombra's or Tracer's. They will 99% go for you most of the time (Also goes for DVA's + Winston's) There's other things, but that's all for now! Hope this helps some people :)

I played her just a tiny bit but she feels... very unsatisfying outside of movement. Damage boost is at times stronger due to new breakpoints, but at the same time that means time to kill can be longer depending on the matchups. And the healing being down to 44hps is so insanely low with the lack of options Mercy has to help her teammates. Bap Kiri Ilari Zen, Ana and Moira can very quickly swap between good and effective damage while maintaining heals, or has multiple options for heals, AND/OR ways to protect/prevent damage like Suzu, Immortality, Lifegrip, hitting a sleep, etc. Really think Mercy should have her HPS back to 60. 65 maybe, Or have her heal beam REDUCE her target's heal reduction by half so its a 10-15% healing reduction instead of 20%. It really affects her ult too which was not too high value. Not that it had to be a game changing ult, but its much easier to die since her Passive gets weakened with the DPS Passive. So she only gets 11hps or like 8.8 HPS if she and her target she's healing were hit by a DPS.

okay actually just hit play and did not see anywhere until now her passive got buffed to 40% so that's nice. Her healing though is still as I mentioned is not as potent and really lowers her strength, especially in some team comps. So I take back what I said with the survivability for herself but the rest applies imo, but it might be fine tuning the role passives rather than Mercy herself since this is a big patch. Not everything is gonna be a good fit now that its on live and they'll tweak some stuff

if a dps attack mercy and her pocket, her self regen passive is reduce 40%, the buff was 60% so overall its an 20% buff but projectile are giant now, it kinda cancels out or mercy is worse in occasions. i feel like my healing is giving someone a tylenol while they receive 10 gunshots, the heal delayed their death by a dew seconds but i rarely save them now. after the poke phase or after the fight starts, i get so much less damage boost time. also since mercy heals 20% most of the time, getting valk is 30% slower including the overall ult charge nerf. tbh valk is an essential to mercy kit so it affects her more. dam boost is much more powerful but tbh my team dies too fast. ill try to find ways to play our queen godess. glad that dps has a good passive but its too strong imo, 15% is good

I can only play mercy(not the best mercy tho but i find her fun to play) i wanna try other heros but when i try I die alot before i can do anything. Idk who I should be trying out rn I'm on console. Tried comp for the first time and got 6 wins 4 losses and got gold 4? Idk if that's good but I'm trying to make mercy work and oml some games is fine while others I'm pumping my support with heals while we back off and it's never enough it sucks. Wish I tried comp last season when the healing wasn't bad. Yeah ik Mercy's kit is to dmg boost but damn everyone hits critical and I can't dmg boost cause of it.

I hoped that I would be able to buff more, as a result - i heal even more than before((( I would really like to see some kind of indication of passive talent on support allies in the future. Its still playable. Ans im in love with new cd for movements! Its co smooth now. And btw i was thinking of a blaster nerf: it would be even better if mercy's blaster could be like diva's (i mean in speed of shooting), so we can deal some dmg too like other supports, not only when valk or low hp enemies

You took it the wrong way, you are supppsed to do more damage if you want to climb, healbotting will keep you at your elo or even downgrade with that patch. Watch Awkward for more advices

I'm playing only Mercy too and for me this season started quite bad x( I lost a lot matches of my placements and couldnt even get back to plat, cause my losing streak continues for now xd I like the rank update every match, so i can track my progress, but... I'm just really sad about the mercy state right now and how the game feels in general. Hopefully later with some changes and fixes i can have fun again xd I dont really like the idea of making supports play more like a dps style, i prefer damage boosting and healing my teammates without glocking every single teamfight xd

The dps passive seems poorly thought out. Heroes with shields have a massive advantage. The two second duration seems to long. A dmg threshold would help too. Being able to activate the passive with one point if chip dmg on say reaper 50m away is a joke.

Support feels so bad,in special Mercy, the healing feels so god damn slow is unreal plus the fact that she doesn’t have any other impactful utility is so bad… this is the repercussion of to many people complaining that support class was to strong…

I'm a mercy and tracer main. While I agree that healing feels a little weak rn I actually prefer it like this. Mostly because 1 person getting pocket healed doesn't outheal 4 enemies shooting them now. The game doesn't feel stagnant anymore cause things actually die but it's not SO weak that a single teammate with heals can't potentially get out if they're only being chased by one or two enemies. Getting dived isn't as bad as I thought it would be either because sympathetic recovery buff is pretty strong, not overpowered but strong enough that it helps. Overall I actually feel like this is the closest they've come to 'balanced' for ow2 so far

I don’t think mercy really different than before really. Mercy has always been a niche hero. Her healing has always been weak in my opinion but the new dps passive just makes mercy healing even worse. I find myself being even more aggressive with her blue beam tbh and do less healing. Like for example, with the new passive everyone has now is to be able to regenerate their health, I would just heal one of the dps or support a little till their regen starts then go back to damage boosting the other dps like soj, hanzo, or solider. Healing the tank never changed really, only help the support out to heal the tank when the tanks is at critical. I also find myself being more passive with her GA now since they changed the hitbox. It’s now pretty easy for the dps now to hit mercy. So yeah, season 9 is pretty rough for us 😂. But can be adapted.

So it’s been confirmed that Mercy shouldn’t pocket anyone/anymore, So I’ve just been sticking with what I already do and that is healing and damage boosting everyone, In my opinion this season fine could be better but it was already that it’s actually the bullets not the hit box that got bigger so in other words hardly anything has changed in the game except health,GA and Bullets having to big of a size to hit someone which would suck if you go against hero’s who already had a big bullet hit box

Season 9 feels it's favored towards dps players. Mercy feels worst and these devs made it clear they hate Mercy players. The health bars dont go up when healing and if you decide to pocket then someone else dies.
