Hi Erin. I'm glad you were spared from Milton. No one can appreciate a hurricane until you have lived through one or many (I'm a native of Louisiana). I think I will pass on the eyeshadow as they are a bit too red for me and I have pink/red eyelids anyway. I adore the meteorites and may pick up those up. The burgundies look pretty on your eye color though. 💕

I really love what you did with the palette. I ordered the palette and the two lipsticks and lipstick case. I could not resist the packaging. I’m excited to try it as blush too. I think the colors could be used as eyeliner with a light wash of the pink all over the lid like you said for a daytime look. I hope guerlain and Violette provide more tutorials with this palette and lipstick. 💄 💄💄🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Hi Erin So happy the hurricane was not as bad as they first thought, though can imagine how frightening it would be. Hope all our friends in Florida are well and recover from this. You have had a particularly bad season for hurricanes - I am lucky in a way to live in a cold country (Scotland) as we never have hurricanes or god forbid earthquakes and other disasters . Erin Nicole, try Guerlain eyeshadow named Aura Glow. It is pink but the most ethereal and gorgeous palette of all of the Guerlain eyeshadows I tried. Aura Glow is from spring collection but with all the pinks and celestial colors we’ve been seeing this holiday I think it is just as relevant with its color story. 💓

Hi Erin: Thank you for featuring this collection - I picked up the eye quad just for the compact, to be honest. Just as you demoed, the mix of pink, red and burgundy does work as blush - with a fluffy brush and very light touch and it lasts all day! Today, I applied the eyeshadows very similarly to the way you did, but more sheerly, and I topped my mobile lid with Chanel’s solo shadows in Jade and Blanc perle. I really like the rest of the collection - the meteorites are great for my skin tone; the new lipstick case is adorable, and; I love the 207 velvet lipstick. Although I wish the eyeshadows were more neutral, the pretty compact is going to live on my vanity, so I am likely to use the shadows regularly as pops of colour, in combination with neutral palettes - but I sure hope Guerlain is done with reds for a while (the Pucci eye quad was pretty disastrous). Grateful you are all safe, have experienced many hurricanes and I disdain them more each year. Beautiful review. The eyeshadow palette is dreadful, truly only someone as beautiful as you could pull it off. I suspect they will make their sales on the container, not the shadows. I have the original meteorites and I love them. This line typically has beautiful products, thanks for the review & preview!

Love your review. Wish there's NO more red eyeshadow - unless one is on the runway and going for extreme drama, the reds are not flattering. I like the copper and the pink. They could have replaced the 2 reds with a shimmer topper and ANY other color but red.

It looks beautiful on you - I get mine tonight (hurricane delays), so I hope I can figure out how to use it - it really brought out your eyes, so I hope that works for me as well - but I do look good with pink and red blush, so maybe that will be nice - I’m not a big fan of all these reds, but I just could not resist the packaging - got my first meteorites in the pucci and now this beautiful shadow case… my vanity is bejeweled now ❤

I like the lipstick case and the meteorites. I personally do not like red at all as a color and I also do not like the one eye and the Regarde Moi packaging. I like that it's sparkly, but I'd prefer a different motive, like a flower or a landscape instead of just one eye.

Guerlain shorted me on the limited edition lipstick case. They didn’t charge me for it but it disappeared from my order. I still see it online on my order but it didn’t come in the shipment and it appears to be sold out. I am so disappointed because the case was really what caught my eye.

I might be the odd person out here, but I honestly don't like the look of this new collection. The packaging doesn't speak to me and the eyeshadow colours are repetitive of the theme of red this year. 🙄 I thought Covid was over? But it looks like the trends still want to make us look as though we are sick. Pink eye is NOT attractive in my opinion. Red/pink on the eyes in general isn't attractive. Guerlain's new Rouge G line is also infuriating because they have changed the component and case so that none of the older lipsticks from the line fit into the new cases. They are also lighter in weight than my original Guerlain cases. Not impressed Anyhow, Erin, this is not a reflection on you. I honestly love your reviews and appreciate the time you take creating them. I love Guerlain but I have to say that out of all of the holiday collections this year, I think Dior has hit it out of the park. Although they do have a red toned eyeshadow set, they also have an alternative, which I think is really nice. I'm still thinking about getting that candle! ❤

The red eyeshadow is definitely not a popular trend with customers from what I can tell! I’m not sure why so many brands did pinks/reds again this year lol I would have loved a neutral color story but I think as long as you commit to the bold shadows and go full glam, it doesn’t look like an eye infection. I love the packaging so I couldn’t resist! Xx
