Hi Mel and James. I was wondering, since you have finished building your home and now adding a nice beach resort, are you still totally off grid power?
@TexasFilipino8 ай бұрын
We have grid backup. I explained long ago that 100 percent off grid can have setbacks. Lightning pops a inverter or some other failure and now your with nothing. Flip of a double throw switch and our whole system is bypassed. Next lets say a major storm system sets in for days on end. Very little or no sun like last year. The grid can keep you going and batteries full so when the grid fails from storm damage you already have a head start. Then you go into power conservation mode keeping unnecessary things off or limited to ride out the storm. Well atleast you will still have power where most don't. Grid backup can be very beneficial. Now there is the generator argument. I own one and honestly it is annoying to listen too. It's a if all else fails thing. We have never had to use it. They can damage things with their dirty power. I ordered a EG4 power converter for gensets that will clean the power and allow you to get the most out of your genset to charge your battery bank safely. This is the best option. Turn on the generator and charge your battery bank then turn off the gen. Dont do it without the adapter as you can fry your house inverter and appliances with dirty power. EG4 Chargeverter is what its called. Do research on it. The new addition is getting its own standalone solar system. The hybrid inverter is almost here. Just cleared customs in Cebu yesterday, I will take my existing batteries and put on that system and upgrade the main house batteries.

I have the "3am" experience sometimes. Definitely not to your level... Thats like trippin' balls level you got goin' on 😂 God bless and keep it up!
@TexasFilipino8 ай бұрын
If we are created in his image then evil is also a part of him. If Satan exist and he is Satan's creator too then God also has evil in him too. Evil prevalent on this earth. Is a loin killing a deer or human evil or just nature? We write it off as nature but it is survival in the way God made it. Every single species on this planet survives on another to the smallest organism. We choose to view it in a way that does not make us feel so dirty. We justify. In his image means with all of his traits. Freewill was Gods will also. He allowed it

My opinon… yer scaring me James, we are too much alike, next you’ll say half of our self stays in heaven or time is past/present/future and we communicate back to our self. Not all experiences in life fit within the confines of conventional understanding. No society, no culture, and no religion owns God. We are cocreators in a biblical sense. Nice! Pay attention. As you obviously do.
@TexasFilipino8 ай бұрын
We are co-creators as we was told to be in the bible. It's another form of propagation. We propagate individually as a species ie: plants, animals, bacteria, germs etc. but we work to propagate or duplicate the entire world as we are trying to search to do on another planet now. How many times have we done this? We might be a copy of a copy of a copy. This might just be our exact job. Evil might be what forces us forward. If we are complacent then we have no drive to do anything. If we always face danger and destruction then it forces us to keep moving forward. Just a thought.

@@TexasFilipinoJames, as always , is great to hear you expounding on something! Being into cosmology/ astronomy/ earth sciences generally. Many people fail to understand that our entire planet ( with everything including us , is composed of atoms) and our solar system. Is but a accumulation of atoms , from any number of previous suns and solar systems, evolving and eventually ( as is the nature of things) , being destroyed in a nova or supernova( as the ' sun: at the centre of a planetary system runs out of time. Gold atoms are created by these explosions, by the way!! Is amazing to think , that all the gold on our planet came from such a source?! As a matter fact. Atoms( actually are billions of years old, in themselves!, we are just ' borrowing them for a while! Lol) I in the human body. for a typical human of 70 kg, there are almost 7*1027 atoms (that's a 7 followed by 27 zeros!) Another way of saying this is "seven billion billion billion." Of this, almost 2/3 is hydrogen, 1/4 is oxygen, and about 1/10 is carbon. These three atoms add up to 99% of the total! Best Regards to all Roger
