That’s awesome you’re homeschooling! I was homeschooled until eighth grade and then tried regular school for a while, but I eventually came to back home school because I really enjoyed learning at my own pace. It’s great that it can be so individualized for each child! I’m sure your girls will love it!

I would look at local churches for a co op. we have one at our church and it is birth to 12th grade. Gino’s once a week every two weeks and my 3 year olds love it. We are also starting homeschooling this year and using the good and the beautiful.

Glad to hear people talk about homeschooling. I just wanted to give you a heads up if you didn't know, The Good & The Beautiful was founded/written by a Mormon. It claims to be non-denominational, but I've heard that the theology gets heretical in higher levels. This isn't meant to be a judgement of you (and I would private message you if you still had Instagram), but I would want someone to tell me if I posted about something I didn't know had Mormon influence.

Its good you use clean products....im surprised you color and highlight your hair .....what type of color products do you use? Are there healthy choices available?

I haven’t looked into clean choices for coloring my hair… I’m sure the ones they use probably aren’t great, but since it’s some thing I do once or twice a year it also hasn’t been my priority yet to look into it! I feel like there are still so many things that I use daily that could be switched over to a cleaner option! But sometime down the road, I’m sure I will see if there are better options available for coloring my hair! :)

@@CaraJane yes I want to look into it too I color my hair as well and I always thought well I only do it occasionally but as I'm getting older I'm trying not to put toxins in my body I stopped getting my nails done 4 years ago and I wish I would have done it sooner 🙂

You say you wanna keep your children's life. Private, but you've already exposed them on your videos and people see you every time you're on a video. So when people see you out in public, they see your children and they know who you are. If I wanted to keep my children private, I sure would not have ever. Expose them on any videos, because you still have them opened up to predators I would have not ever let anyone see my children if you wanted to keep their life private. I don't really understand youtubers who say that. Because do you expose them as babies? And then you expose yourself. So in the area where you live. People know who you are. And when they see your children, they already know who they are.

Keeping the children's lives private is not only to protect them from predators. It may be to protect the children's choice to share their private life with others. I really enjoy watching Quinn and Bria grow up and explore life with Cara and Eric but I also respect their decision to focus less of their content on the children's personal lives. I appreciate the work that they are doing and the thought that they put into safeguarding the well-being of their family.

I appreciate that you’ve acted upon the knowledge that there are icky people in the world and have taken the steps to protect your girls! While I loved getting to see them, I would take vlogs once a year if it meant that was the only time you had to film with them not around in order to protect them and keep your stress levels down!

I really enjoy your videos. Your hair looks gorgeous as a 31 year teacher. Please consider a putting your kids in school. There is much more to it than just the academics. If you choose to homeschool, make sure they’re involved in a lot of extracurricular activities with other kids, it is so important.

Thank you for a lovely video 😊 I know you weren’t overly keen on sharing lots of homeschooling content but would you be willing to share how you plan out your day-to-day activities? I remember once you said you sometimes plan out hour-by-hour for your day. Would love some inspiration for structure for my 3 year old.

I use Acure hair products! I love the shampoo and conditioner in the coral and white bottles (I think it's called daily workout) and the lime green one too! They both smell so good and I like them both better than the yellow one!

I just cut all my hair off, lol. I went from below my shoulder blades to my chin, but I love it! I do have to fix it but it literally takes no time at all, thankfully. My golden doodle bark still scares me too after 4 years, just so loud and deep, I jump every time 😂 Serena (Louisiana)

Hey Cara! Happy to see your vlogs. Can you please share how homeschool goes and a routine you are going to do. We tried your ramen recipe…. It was SOO good!!! So thank you for sharing your recipes. It helps me to switch up meals and build confidence in my cooking 😊 Hair care: pureology not sure how to spell it. This brand shampoo and conditioner are sooo good. A little pricey but sooo worth it. Also we all the girls I know swear by the detangler spray !!!

Love love love the good and the beautiful! My son is right behind Quinn age wise so I love seeing the next level he will get, he’s currently slowly working through all the pre k and kindergarten prep courses. I hope you continue to share the hauls of homeschool stuff 🤞🏻❤

Omg that ferris wheel is my nightmare! Lol… I am so afraid of a heights it’s debilitating.😅🫣 The good and the beautiful has always been so pretty! Even though I don’t homeschool, I still think my kiddos would love to do some of the lessons.☺️

lol i’ve actually kind of developed a fear of heights, the last couple years out of nowhere, but for some reason it didn’t even phase me on the Ferris wheel! I think because it was like a little closed in room! And I totally agree… There were so many cute things on their website that I would be interested in even if I wasn’t homeschooling either!
