I agree, there's a lot of negativity bias around these reboot dolls and i think it's a shame! Less articulation but a nice outfit, hair accessories, nylon hair and a play gimmick for $20 seems good to me!

I agree, I got Meline and she so gorgeous! she quickly joined Heather, Shanelle and FF Ruby as one of my all-time favorite Rainbow High dolls.

I understand the couple thing. My husband and I are together almost 24/7...I work from home. He's retired. But after work, I do my doll thing or read & he has his other hobbies, like gardening ,fishing & cooking. So those things we do separate. But yet we are older, in our 50s, so we don't go out & party anymore...lol. We're always home ...together. He does go away for fishing weekends sometimes & I love having the house to myself. But yet don't mind when he's here. But always nice just to have the "me" time.

Yeah it’s definitely healthy I think for couples to have their “me time” and doll collecting is the best hobby to just be creative and get lost in your own lil world!

I really do really like some reboot dolls, I have all the Sparkle and Shine Girls, I rebody them and ughhh, they're cute Divasss I also want to buy some Slime girls (Except Jade and Amaya), Winter Wonder and these Chalk girls too

I received her today surprisingly and she actually looks pretty decent in person! I seriously love the outfit she wears and the hair chalk feature is pretty cool. Just wish she has more articulation like the OGS had, though! Regardless, I can’t wait to play with her and see this cool gimmick!😊😊🌈❤️

I personally really like this Amaya. I love the hairstyle you gave her. I’m still wondering if the chalk is water activated, because it’s sad that it didn’t really work. I had a Barbie that had the same type of gymic and the chalk she came wit( work super well.

I rebody mine. I had a extra slime amya. I did not like the slime amya. I dont find them at my local thrift stores. So I used what I had. I also bought the lux doll. Im definitely gonna rebody her. Ebay is my friend. Not to my wallet tho. 😂

They have head sculpts that are more suited for Asian characters. The classic sculpt just isn't suited. The later sculpts were so much better. It's a shame they're stuck on using the worst one on all of the dolls.
