Hi. Hair tip: the roots bleach more/faster because of the heat from your head. the ends aren’t as light because they are farther from your head. next time putting a bag over your head will help keep the heat in and bleach the ends of your hair as well for a more even color. I hope this helps

From a hairdresser in the making: the roots always bleach faster because of the heat in your scalp that's why it's uneven. But Franny did awesome and it looks great and I love that you're posting again ❤

@yt.alexisss hello love, fellow hairdresser here. There are many levels to hair trying to go from brown to blonde. If you have Virgin hair (never been colored or lightened) you can simply use a dark blonde color and the appropriate level of developer to reach the desired tone. On the other hair if your hair is not Virgin you will have to lighten it, there are many color stages of the hair going from brown to blonde. Unfortunately orange lives in that realm. But there are many beautiful tonal options for the meantime between sessions. I highly recommend going low and slow on the lightening process and give you hair time to breathe between lightening services, you will reach your goal shade faster than you think! @yt.alexisss Well, that actually depends on each person's hair, if you hair is dark brown it might turn more orange and if it's lighter it might reach a blond more yellow but there's really not knowing until you try... but you can always tone the hair after, just keep in mind that you might not get to the lightest blond if that is what you wanted

If you’re ever gonna do this in the future a big tip is to do the mids- ends first and put them in foil to help keep the heat in. Once it’s close to finishing apply the bleach to the roots. The roots will lighten faster than the ends cause of the heat from ur scalp will make it process faster. So u wanna do the ends first and then the roots. Huge fan of all of u guys!
