I personally am in love with the Haunted Forest line. Everything is just SO PRETTY to me. I feel you could also use this line to do a Haunted Winter scene and keep it up all Winter also if you wanted to and even incorporate Christmas in there. Yes! This collection is so good if you're trying to get a spooky winter vibe for Christmas. It's really hard to find stuff for that IMO. I'm definitely stalking this line for winter decor when it gets discounted.

The haunted forest is my everyday bedroom aesthetic so I'm happy to have it! I don't see winter so much as ethereal, like the ballroom scene in the Labyrinth--dreamy, pretty, and soft but just under the surface a little unsettling. It's a hard vibe to pin down but I love it.

This spooky season is gonna be huge because it's gotten so trendy and popular to go all out on Halloween which is unfortunately driving up demand and prices for decor & experiences, there's so many more people this year with Halloween hunting channels and I can tell it's gonna be nuts every piece of decor I pick up is $20 or $30 or more this is how I decorate year round and when I shop for my stuff because you can't find it the rest of the year Halloween has always been big for me I miss the days when I could go out with a hundred bucks and come home with everything I need, now I come back with 1 pillow and a candle holder lol I'm happy Halloween is getting more store space and recognition but I do miss the days when people would call me a weirdo for living like this, happy Halloween cris can't wait for the road trip vlogs 🖤

I knew when everyone complained about the Hippie Hollow line that there would be another collection coming that was much darker and more traditionally Halloween and I think we got that with the Midnight Moon collection. The Haunted Forest collection is really unique and both lines are really cool. I really admire Michael's for their creativity and willingness to come up with new, unique lines even if not all of the collections are to my taste or executed well. Can we please talk about Michael's preoccupation with toilets and pooping though? LOL

I’m loving some of the haunted forest pieces. I decorate with a cemetery theme but more realistic and not cutesy. I use moss and branches, ravens, sculls. I like the tombstones and cemetery pieces I can add dirt and moss to that will age it and look more realistic.

I bought the batroom sign for the bathroom door and the 2 oval witch wallart pieces, plus the vintage Witch's photo. From that white line, i am thinking about the Witch picture that flows unto the frame, maybe the white hairless cat, and the quited spider pillow. But I haven't seen that line in the flesh yet, so i may change my mind. Love the dark line tho

When I shopped at Michaels on Thursday, I saw some pieces that I thought you would like.....and you did seem to like them!! I got the pumpkin haunted house for $2 with the discounts and rewards. Super happy!! I did like the winter group...it seemed a good opposite to the normal, more eerie than spooky. The witch group had fun items that I will keep checking. Safe travels!!

I am into vintage and Dark Academia and I am in love with those two sets of book boxes, the ink well with quill, the large black cat painting (because it looks like my cat) and some of the Victorian gothic stuff. I really don't have much space, but those book boxes would look fantastic on my fireplace year round. I previously bought one of the three book boxes from Home Goods to use in my Harry Potter room to hide my remotes and now it seems I have to get these two sets too which fits in with the Victorian Dark Academia vibe I have. I am waiting till payday!

My favorite part of it is that there's about 4 witch canvases this year. One in a circle frame, the next one in the series, and at least one that looks like a vintage picture. The white one that was on the lower shelf is pretty too. And I liked the veiled thing you liked. Michael's is going to get a huge chunk of my money this year. I absolutely hate the toilet thing. The tubs are cute though. I didn't like when they were selling the outhouses at Big Lots, either. I just think toilet stuff is tacky. Nobody needs to be reminded that we're all humiliated every day.

We have fully stocked both lines at our michaels and I went and viewed it Friday. I absolutely love the first line you showed. My favorite so far!! But as for the other line not a fan! It's too white and i feel the pictures don't stand out. And I love the actual pictures if they stood out more!! But the witch picture with the bats and the black frame...I should have bought it when I had my hands on it! I hope I can still get one! Michaels for the win this year!!! I really like the white forest line. It is subtle, well some of it. ….Just don’t look at it as a whole. It is a way to add some white into your ascetic. I’m decorated in all year around spooky decor with neutral colors and I like subtle pieces and stuff that is not death related, mystical magical. They are hard to find you are definitely right about that. Love your channel! Keep up the great work.

I feel like if they changed the winter forest to a winter graveyard theme, it would be so much better. They could focus more on the cool tombstones and change the witch pictures out for ghosts. I really think that line could be the start of something hauntingly beautiful, but right now it's just missing the mark.

The glass beads on the swan are also on the raven. I had to mod podge the ones on the swan because half a dozen came off when I got her home; the ones on the raven are holding for now. FYI, these beads are TINY so don't let the pets/kids eat them. Sidenote: That's not an angel. That's the Goddess Nike.

I thought they could have done so much more with the haunted forest idea that they just didn’t do- it wasn’t very foresty in my opinion. I mean they could have done like a creepy tree with bats and a glowing star feature on it, they could have done like a werewolf thing they could have done like creepy bunnies mummy deer they could have taken so many opportunities but instead they came up with cobwebs on bird busts? Disappointing this year they didn't release it with 40% off sale as they normally do every year. The bat candlestick holder they generally have every year though. I was more disappointed in how small the Dracula (& etc) were as the last years they were so much bigger!

My Michaels only had some of the things. I loved some and disliked some. I hated the Toilet Dudes. I really wanted to see the haunted houses pics and those veiled lady tombstones from the Haunted Forest line, but they did not have them. I loved the witch art. I will have to wait until it goes on sale though; I could not justify the prices.
