I hope this type of crack down spurs other cities to do the same. Uber and Lyft drivers see what's going on first hand. See something, say something. Stop being the preferred mode of transport for drug dealers and buyers.

Yea i saw a vid. Where the uber driver kicks out the 3 oppiucants. He had been giveing a ride. Cuz he was taking them read to deal drugs. Nd he said he wont b a part of tht. They do it cuz its safer. Their not driving so they cant b pulled over. Its not their car so it cant be searched... Nd if a cop did pull over the uber driver. He lickly let them go. Or the dealer in the back seat culd quickly hide the drugs... In the seats or floorboard or cupholder or little flap on behibd the seat. And maintatin his plosdible deny ability... Or simply say... The drugs wernt his. Its an uder. Alot of ppl use it... Its a public ride service. anyone other pervious passenger culd of left them thare by accudent. Or it feel out of their pocket into the seats... So yea

Well when those store call the police and the police don't show up how do u expect them to get rid of the bad customer's that cause problems. I live in New Haven and have witnessed this first hand at my Lil corner store. The cashier was threatened and the store was robbed of products. The cashier called but u New Haven cops never showed up.

I used to live in New Haven, there was a corner store around from where I lived. I saw on the internet, the owner got arrested for selling drugs. It's a different place under new management now.
