If this is going to be a book faithful reboot, how many years will it take to tell the complete tale? 7 or more years? Would a spinoff be slatted 8-10 years from now? Meh. I’m more than happy with just a book faithful reboot. Jo’s other HP projects (Fantastic Beast and Cursed Child) were flat and I see a spinoff similarly.

Regulus was only 19 years old at his death so there isn't much time for him to have done much to write about.

Fair point. Although starting at hogwarts, covering him joining the death eaters, to horcrux hunting is a decent amount of content, after-all we got the whole harry potter series before Harry was that age.
