that's mainly why realistic roleplay or whatever it's called was invented. Though- the Deinos do have to have a weakness and not being strong in shallow waters or on land is completely fair to me. Plus they can always eat fish if they're unable to find things in the water- so it's not like they're unable to escape death if somethings keeping them inside the river.

The isle is a realistic game, but In The end balancing is more needed then actual realism.

Either the water was shallow enough for the deino to lunge or the underwater speed boost was used which automatically lunges at your prey item. This is a cinematic but if it was actual gameplay that would be how it would go down.

It is a prey species, but it is not helpless. It has more attacks (4) than any other creature in the game currently. I'm sure if it wasn't 'easy' for you to kill a teno with your carno you would be crying and screaming teno needs a nerf. Your argument makes no sense. Not to mention teno is pretty easy to grow, so anyone who complains it is difficult isn't playing it right.

This game has become so amazing! The grouping system forces a sort of realism on the game that it never had before. The fact that the flying, swimming, and walking dinos all have interaction. That you can see them all around you as you migrate... I'm so happy The Isle didn't get abandoned but instead upgraded into this so well. Thanks, devs!
