Shield is a great budget option. Really you cant go wrong with most of the big brands. Glock, cz, s&w, hk, walther, sig, Springfield, theyre all making some awesome stuff atm. P10C, PDP, p30, the hellcat and echelon from Springfield. The whole m&p series besides maybe the bodygaurd. All of these are amazing carry/duty guns

Glock still needs to work the bugs out of there Gen 5 Glocks before they think about improvements. The reason why people bought Glock is for no frills or gimmicks. It just works. Tight grouping. Tough and drop dead reliable.

I built my own, nice platform bc it's cheap but Shadow Systems has sent Glock to the Shadow realm.

@@DS..69 Glock will always be better and cheaper And the only reason they did the pro comp is because the hellcat 9mm feels like a 10mm

​@MF-Rell problem is shadow systems are $300-400 more then glock in the first place. They're great guns but they miss a niche of being affordable for every guy. That's why glock stays on top and will stay on top. At the end of the day you want a gun that simply works everytime you pull that trigger and glock is that at a better price

That’s the thing most Of to top tier forearms are super reliable, it’s no longer a selling point for Glock, part availability and aftermarket support are most likely the reason why people continue purchasing glocks, the other firearm is Glock magazine compatible… easy enough want a new accessory it’s super cheap for glocks…

Ots glocks poly mags. Steel mags are thinner and thus fit more in a svelte package.

Like the feel of the hellcat pro in the hands but seems to shoot like a turd compared to a Glock 19. My buddy’s and the few RSOs all agreed to It’s pretty much just a Glock 19 slim different grip angle with more felt recoil and less accuracy. Optic ready though😅

My 43x magazine holds 15 rounds with the upgraded mag release.

Glock’s magazine is thicker. I’ve seen someone explain it before. Steel insert covered by a polymer exterior reduces capacity compared to an all steel magazine

Its simple capitalism. People vote with their money. If ppl keep buying the glick and keeping their sales high, rhey wont see a need ro innovate. If people stopped buying glocks, i promise, Glock will definitely improve

As a vet its not that appealing...im jus sayin my armament does not have to get me hard when i look at it... Rounds are gettin sent downrange regardless but when im tac loading i still have to look at it n for the price we have to pay for it... Cant do it

Glock has hung on their laurels since the inception of them fielding the G17. They have done nothing new, they have not fixed any deficiencies of trigger, grip angle, or “slide stop” instead insisting that they are pros instead of cons. Glock won’t become irrelevant tomorrow, but they will become what Colt is today a non innovative player riding out the tail end of government contracts.

Glocks actually hold 18 rounds in a mag... but the mags are never full, because Politicians wanted to set a legal limit at 10 rounds the full mags work great with 15 rounds, all 18 will wear the spring down fast.

Glock innovating is an oxymoron. It's the same sh*t brick since 1980. They're for gys that still wear 511 baseball caps. SO MANY better, WAY more attractive, frankly BETTER pistols on the market. That reliability argument has become stale. Show me a $500 plus striker fired, pokymer handgun from a major manufacturer that ISN'T reliable.
