This kid was me just 4 years ago... I remember finishing university, having not done as well as I should have, and being unsure of where I was going in life. I had just missed out on an internship that would, I thought, open the door to my future. I felt like I was on a precipice, at this tipping point of my life where if I got it right then all would be well in the world, but if I didn't... well, that's me pretty much written off. I remember feeling like I was about to spiral out of control and lose what I had worked for all my life. The same day I graduated, my parents gave me a NOMOS Club, the ref. 703. I remember looking at that watch and thinking 'I don't deserve this, I've failed in reaching my next step'. Everything they had done for me, all the hard work, patience, kindness, sacrifice. I felt like I had squandered it all. They had done so much for me and I hadn't held up my side of the bargain. Time past, I did other things, but continued to feel this weight hanging over me. I had failed to fulfil my potential. For quite some time, the watch symbolised 'close... but no cigar' to me. It's only now, 4 years after graduating, that I can reflect on this experience properly. I have now found that role that I felt that I was meant to have, but I come to it from an entirely different place. I no longer carry the weight of my past mistakes; instead, I feel grateful for the experience and proud of my tenacity in overcoming this challenge. The sort of kindness my parents extended to me that fateful summer day I can now extend to my past self. My NOMOS Club will always hold a special place in my heart. When I look at the watch now, I don't see the failure I once saw. Instead, I see the love, pride, and belief my parents had in me beaming out of it. It shines like the sun on my wrist. As I smile at this watch, I feel I am beginning to understand what so many have known for so long... The beauty of life was always just the journey.

I got my Normos Orion 1989 as a Present for my 25 birthday from my parents. My father is a Watch guy so I got into watches as well. It´s my first proper watch. I like the meaning of it. My parents grew up in East Berlin (DDR) and moved to West Germany before the reunion happened. As the Watch commemorates the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall it is a nice reminder of my Parents, their History, my Birthday and whatever experience I have with the Watch on my wrist.

I keep coming back to this one. I really think it is one of the best short videos. My daughter will be graduating after this semester. I plan to give her a watch. Btw, great to see Sam in the video.

I keep going back to this video. It’s one of the best one’s out there. It’s touching and well produced. You definitely drive the point on how challenging the next steps are for a graduate starting the new world. Thank you for these exceptional videos..

I’m a female in my late 50s. I have a Club Campus 38 in Future Orange 🍊 which I purchased about a year ago following a very successful, but trying time in my career that almost broke me! It makes me smile! I put it on a gray Hodinkee suede strap. It’s a happy symbol of overcoming for me at a time in life when I need to continually remember to lighten up! 🥰👍🏼

Christian and Michael, I would recommend you starting a new tab on your website that highlights the short films you have produced. I, personally enjoy going back to them and watching them all over again. I’m sure those who start following you will be able to catch up. Thank you.

This hits hard. I’ve literally experienced the same thing a couple of months back. I felt the sense of unfamiliarity and dread, but when I finally got my stride life felt great. I’m just in the starting line of the field but I finally got my foot in. Thanks for the amazing video!

I'm graduating from university next year and the Club Campus was always on my mind as the perfect watch to mark this occasion. I hadn't completely decided on it though. My goal was to save up 2000 euros and choose when it came time to do so. I know it's going to be the Club Campus(definitely the purple/blue) for sure. Can't wait!

I’ve a slightly different perspective than some commenters. I’ve three daughters. One in law school, one in college and one who graduated high school on Monday. So, I experienced this through the eyes of the dad. I completely felt him starring at the blank sheet of paper. I mean, freaking completely. (I LOVE the whole bit with the mom coming in and doing the obvious.) You communicated the unexplainable by show that it is, well, unexplainable. Really, really well done.

Great message from the father in the second half of the video, really included words that a lot of people don’t get to hear growing up and struggle trying to figure that out or feel like they suck for a long time

So good. A special watch isn’t just the one you got to celebrate some win. It’s often the one you wore while navigating the path…fits so well with Nomos. Great story T&H team!

I am new to the world watches. For the last few months I’ve been learning what I can and determine the kind of watches that I would want to have. And for sure Nomos is one of my top favorites, highly likely to be my first mechanical watch. And by the way I also like quality films, and this one is so good, from music to sounds, to choice of frames, story, and the acting. All outstanding!

A relatable (and nervewracking) experience no matter what stage in life you may be transitioning from. I always look forward to these shorts, the cinematography and choice of music never fails to impress!

On the last day of work of my first full year of teaching I bought the Nomos Club. It felt so unreal, to have that accomplishment under my belt. My first retail watch, the first watch I did not get out of my head. I knew the purchase was coming, but I figured that this was the right moment. I traveled that summer and that watch was on my wrist. Since that moment corona hit, and I am so glad that I have a watch to remind me of the fact that I can do that whole year of teaching and come out on top. Yeah, it's a great keeper, not just of memories.

My son and I share a love for watches and he just introduced me to Nomos because I was looking for a grad gift for his sister - graduating university. I am so grateful to him for this. I fell in love with the Tetra and purchased it. Maybe he was planting a seed, as he graduates next year!? Watches, Family, Time ... beautiful moments in life. Beautiful film and I look forward to watching many more. Thank you!

I'm graduating now, and it is quite surreal that my three years are up already. I bought myself a Hamilton khaki mechanical before I started university, and it may seem silly, but I've greatly appreciated having that watch as a companion throughout an uncertain time. That watch will always be a reminder that everything will be OK in the end, despite all the stress.

This is seriously fantastic -- I know so many of my guys, and myself, had this exact same struggle while exiting the military. Lacking direction and purpose is definitely a tough place to be but, again, you guys made a thoughtful film that nailed it.

Very good. I like the heirloom angle. The boy has seen his father with that Nomos world time on his wrist over the years, and now is being welcomed to the club (new here/adulthood) with his own Nomos. Nice one T&H.

I graduated college on a saturday and went to work the very next monday and what a blessing that was! The months and weeks leading up to that point had me feeling very empty and "New Here", I'm thankful for that feeling as it made me appreciate the success I now have. Also, heres to another kick-ass short film by T&H!

That was a well balanced commercial. Hit home and subtley connected with the NOMOS line. I am glad I clicked on it as it encapsulates what many connect with their watches.

This film really made me feel seen. I am going through the same sort of issue right now and at times it does feel like all is lost. Its the little things like this that really help get you through the times when you feel down, so thank you for this gem of a story. I know there are others like me who needed this as well. Its also amazing that this was made in collaboration with Nomos, a brand that I admire greatly, and as a long time viewer its fantastic to see where T&H has come from, and where you will go

In my family there has never been any traditions in gift giving. As a matter of fact I'm 32 now and I'm still waiting for my graduation present that my father said he'd buy... We have a good relationship my parents and I, but this bond trough meaningful gift giving is not really that present. I would really like to change this going forward if or when I have my own children. I really love watches and basically everything that has craftsmanship and soul in it. I am a designer myself. It kinda sucks that I won't be able to feel the feeling of my father gifting me something special that I can later gift on to my children, but at least I have the desire to start this tradition myself. I am currently waiting to get my own Nomos Club Campus 737 (supposed to arrive by March 2023) and cannot be happier to have mad that decision. I'm sure it will be the first of many.

reverse happened to me I had a great job saved up bought a Rolex then a week later was laid off with 20 other people. I remember being scared to wear the watch at work.. Everyone but me went to the bar after, except me I went to a temp agency that got me the job I've had for 4 years now and the 1st day at my new job I wore my Rolex and felt like I earned it. Hits different for me but similar feelings. Love T&H.
