Love it! I got mine in the teal blue and I find I wear it everywhere with everything. I was a bit worried the other day, when I was caught in the rain- but she was just fine. These bags are made to work hard and last. I would like my next one in black with gold hardware. Thanks for sharing and for the review!

Such a great choice Jennifer!!! The Etoupe will be an all year colour like the black you have and go with everything 🙌🙌 I bought the gold Evelyn 29 with gold hardware last Summer after watching your review and how much you loved yours ;) I LOVE the bright Hermes colours so I got two Bastia for pops of colour. Now if money was no object I would add an Evelyn in a fun colour like red or green etc 😍

Congratulations 🍾 it’s beautiful ☺️ and it suits your fair and pretty complexion! It’s also easier to dress it up, I would imagine - compared to the black one (which I think is sexy 😉) I went two weeks ago to the Hermès boutique in Zurich (I live in Switzerland) and saw this one and the one in caramel color BUT with a white strap! I first wanted the etoupe color, because it’s more muted, but after trying on the caramel one, I fell in love with it. The caramel bag was in the display and they weren’t allowed to sell it untill the display changes (once in a month or when the new collection comes in, I guess - they couldn’t tell exactly when). So, the SA had to ask if the bag has to be shipped to another location or I could buy it, since it was the only one in Switzerland. It’s a rare combination with this strap, so I don’t regret passing on the etoup color. I got mine last Wednesday, when they changed the display, they called and asked me if I was still interested 😁🥰

@@JustJennifer I found a lady on Etsy, with great reviews. She works with linen and felt (most of the inserts I’ve seen are only felt). So, it looks nicer, a bit luxurious and you can choose if you want an additional zipper on the top. I chose two different colors for the sides, it should be fun to change the color according to the mood of the day. If you’re interested, I can share the profile. I think it totally depends on what colors you wear most. For example, in Illinois I wore more dark colors and used my black Evelyne more often. Here in Florida, I tend to grab my taupe one. Other than that, the black one will have less of a chance to see any dirt, pen marks etc that might happen over the years. Good luck with your decision!

Well, that's a tough one..... In Illinois I would say I wore the black a bit more often, but not that I am in Florida, black bags are not on the radar as much. I think you can't go wrong with either one! Actually, I thing the taupe would be an excellent choice if you wear navy very often. Taupe goes well with black and navy, and pretty much every possible color! Good luck with your choice!

Yes. They are both the 29cm, or PM size. My black one looks a little bigger because the leather stretches a bit with use as the leather relaxes. I love it when it gets to the "smooshy" stage!
