HUGE fan of the B&W 801's!😊 I heard these back in the mid 90's and was blown away. First speaker system that ever gave me goosebumps. I still go to audio shows and brick and morter stores to re experience that feeling but it rarely happens. I hope that the set you have go to a good home where they will be appreciated.

The Empire 598 turntable is from 1970. Beautiful unit. I have a near mint 1976 698 & a near mint 1962 398 that I’m currently using. I’ll never sell them

Hi guys The brass pucks Do you offer the “technics” etching ? Doesn’t come up as an option on website

The Technics etched logo on the puck (9:16) should be smaller. It should be the same size as the one etched on the turntable's front right corner

Good luck in repair. Just beware not to demagnetize the ribbons as one fellow did with his Apogees with bit fallen from screwdriver.

Can you still find a nice Sony DVP-CX777 CD changer that I could purchase, and can you continue to fix it when and if I needed it repaired? Or a comparable Sony or Pioneer CD changer? I am not married to any specific one. I would just like to have one in the system. Thanks.
