I've been using the NYX brow pen for a while and I really like it, but you're right - it's just *slightly* too pigmented if you want a natural brow. Also, I've been eyeing that Colourpop palette for a while now and you may have just convinced me to buy it! Thanks for the dupe ideas! 🥰

I will be 50 in a couple days. I started wearing makeup shortly before my 13th birthday. I LOVE makeup tutorials like this! I have been eyeing that colourpop palette for a while, it's so pretty! With the exception of the foundation it sounds like the rest of the dupes were just as good as the ones they were a third of the price of so why would someone pay for the high end product over the cheaper one that does the same job? I also wonder if any of the dupes where you felt you needed to just put a little more effort in or blend a bit more etc could have been because of the brushes/tools you were using? Even if they are equally good in quality, if you have a preference/one you always reach for first you will be more comfortable using it, it would be more of a muscle memory response than the brush you don't use quite as often or it could be that one is slightly better at the job than the other which could make it difficult to tell whether it was the product or the tool that wasn't as good.

Wow- pretty good. Was it just the camera or did the L’Oreal make your skin more yellow at first? With everything on, you can only slightly see a difference but it was the biggest one I noticed while you were applying it

I loved how both sides looked but to be honest it was hard to tell that you applied highend and drugstore on either side of your face. Would like to see more videos 📹 like this one.

I've got some dupes for you... Armani Luminous Silk foundation is duped by Physicians Formula Organic Wear Silk foundation Elixir. Just be sure to apply it with a brush... Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze is duped by the JCat Bravo Brow Tamer Balm... The Glossier Brow Flick is duped by the Milani Weekend Brow Eyebrow Tint... Urban Decay Primer Potion can be duped by the Milani Eyeshadow Primer... Unfortunately the best dupe for the Natasha Denona Glam palette was limited edition. It's the Lorac Vintage Glamour palette. The quality of this palette is actually better than the Natasha Denona one. The next best dupe, in my opinion, is the Alter Ego Shadow Kiss palette... The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer can be duped by the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and possibly even the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Concealer but I feel the Maybelline is more spot on... KVD Tattoo Liner dupe is Wet N Wild's Breakup Proof Liquid Liner... The Thrive Cosmetics mascara is a tubing mascara and there are a couple options for that reason. If you want a tubing mascara with a similar effect at an affordable price, the Essence Volume Stylist Lash Extension mascara is good. I got both hourglass and NYX eyebrow products and NYX just beat hourglass for the long ride, stays in place no matter the weather and doesn't move but hourglass does. For precision, you may need to play a bit more with NYX, because with practice I never ever returned to other brow pencils ever again. And I also have both Denona Glam palette and Colourpop Stone Cold. And again, it's not only about the pigment that is much better on Glam palette but after some 12 to 16 hours...Glam palette eyeshadows are there with all pigment and even time played it's role, the look still wears amazing but with Stone Cold the eyeshadows are gone from parts of the lid and it doesn't look that pretty. So, Stone Cold is good if you're going to wear it for about 4-6 hours but if you are like me staying out the whole day...Glam palette and NYX Lift Snatch. 😉

I have such a problem with brow pens, crayons, powders etc. No matter how much they seem to match , they’re either too harsh or too orange or then Just invisible. I am 60+ and have some gray hair in my brows. And I need more coverage also between my nose bridge where hairs are missing. The brush stroke kind just looks fake. Random Allergic reactions are also an issue. I’m not eager to pay $30 for a high end brow pencil. It’s a first world problem for sure.

Great dupes! I have the same two eyeshadow palettes lol. I bought colorpop first hoping to save money, but ended up still getting the Natasha one😆 I think you can get similar colors from colorpop as Natasha Denona, but the formulas are so different to me. Colorpop requires more effort to blend, in my opinion. Also requires more shadow to achieve the same pigment as Natasha Denona. That being said, if you’re not a fan of soft shadows and prefer to work in buildable layers, colorpop is the winner. I just wish I could find a dupe for the nd formula and save myself money on my addiction haha.

I think you should do a video where you do HIGH END vs. AFFORDABLE but just label #1 & #2 to see if we can tell the difference. I realize we won't be able to see up close BUT maybe we can judge by the overall look AND lasting wear update at the end of the day. Just a thought... 😊

Reality is each product ingredients... cost very little.... Packaging, advertising and desire to use brands is hi end trap. If its not made in china and pass govt safety ingredients skip hi end stuff. Same goes with all body products. Do the marketing research vs what we want to see. Do a blind test and then u will know what u will like. Do not identify "dupes" before applying. Packaging needs to be concealed.

I hate the hydro grip primer. It makes your foundation pill up over moisturizer. I used it when I was doing my makeup for a wedding and had to wash it off and start over.

Actually the ColourPop Cold Stone Fax Eyeshadow Palette is a Cool Tone Palette, and the Natasha Denona one is warm tone. There undertones are not the same, so the color payoff won't be the same too.

The Natasha Denona Glam Palette is a Cool Toned Palette, maybe leaning a little neutral, but def not Warm Toned. She came out with the Bronze Palette for Warm Tones.
