NEW Highkeeper Ra Mage OTK! Tortollan Pilgrim Potion of Illusion! | Hearthstone

The goal of this Hearthstone Shudderwock Mage OTK combo deck is to use Potion of Illusion combined with Tortollan Pilgrim and Mogu Cultist to summon Highkeeper Ra! We do this by playing Tortollan Pilgrim and selecting Potion. Then, we duplicate Tortollan and Mogu until we can eventually summon Highkeeper Ra. Finally, we use Tortollan and Potion to copy Ra for the OTK! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

Hey Mark, I had a dumb idea for a deck using this potion of illusion and tortollan pilgrim combo, if you took the mage quest and shuffled a copy in the deck with an elekk, you could take infinite turns

@@nicka.a8728 Turtle Mage just survives better, and does really well against Midrange stuff. There's not enough draw to consistently Exodia people, and not enough survivability to get there with other means

@Nathan Nieman I'd argue that you're actually assembling something with this OTK as opposed to just finding combo pieces with the other one. Also, it's a naming convention to name certain combos Exodia in this game. The infinite fireball OTK was the first to be called this way.

Surprisingly it’s not the best idea, as we can see with Regis’s deck, the solarians can mess up the combo by offing the piligrins on your turn.

The problem with Elekk is that it also shuffles in your opponent's spells. That's why it's not run in better builds.

Well, elekk was mvp this game, even if elekk shuffle potentially 1-3 crap into your deck, I, an heatthstone player, believe that all my spells will be in my hand at turn 15.

mark you who like to do impossible otk that you think to try one that I have with rogue I did it but playing with a friend but maybe you can improve it. the idea is to make an otk with ras murmuhielo the legendary dual of shaman and magician and fill the table with maligos. The root can be removed from the spell of 1, the happy wing or the student when it is on the scolomancer map and to put 6 maligos you can do it with 2 loose-toga barites.

@@BobMarleyChiti Well in that case playing a Mogu Cultist, using Togwaggle's Scheme, waiting until you draw all Cultists, playing them, Shadowstepping Ra to hand, reducing it's cost by 5 with Thaurissan over 5 turns, playing Ra and then copying it with Faceless Manipulator is also an OTK, which seems pretty silly to me.

It's dubious at best. You need to keep your board clear, and by the time your supposed to play illucia they're popping off. Then the issue of have they played both turtles. Otherwise they just play the 8 mana one and start the combo over. It's a sweatfest.

@@Begeru yes but on average when you dont draw both then you have an extremely high win rate, so on average it is a top tier deck theoretically. The way to mitigate this is to shuffle the spells into the deck using the new elek card. Once people refine this deck it will be very hard to beat unless you have a very fast deck.

CroVa Boompistol is not wild. Just you can’t win against infinite iceblock, boompistol, freezing mage. -Zephrys costs 7 or 12 mana. -no otk can kill them, cause block -minions can’t do anything, because they are frozen. It is unbeatable. You would need 3 specific counter cards to beat them.

Decks like these are fun to watch, but awful to play against. You lose long before the game is over. If I'm going to lose, I'd rather the game just end. Sure you could concede, but that's bad too because what if you could have won? Instead you've got to play out a long game that you almost certainly have lost to see if there was a sliver of a chance you won. I blame Blizzard.
