Thank you for sharing, we all need to learn what ever we can about our balers. I really like your baler maintenance / repair videos. Farm safe my friend & teach your kids to the same.

Thanks I’m glad it can possibly help someone. We try to be safe, can’t imagine if something happens to one of my kids! Things can happen really quick with this equipment if you don’t respect it for sure.

Thanks for the video, just acquired a 315 but having a hard time getting sprocket off to replace bearing as rear bearing seal is gone and it’s missing some ball bearings. Noticed shaft has a snap ring on front of baler, does not seem that shaft removes easily. Was your sprocket hard to remove, any trick that helped? Keep up the great videos!

So how did you get the feeder bearing bar off of the feeder bar?
@thebalerman9 ай бұрын
You're talking about the little bar that the bearings mount on on the end of the feeder bar? You Remove the bearings and collars and loosen the bolt that clamps it in and it'll slide out.

I just recently purchased a NH 316 and I am in the process of the once over. I noticed that the feeder chain is quite loose and both the driven and idler sprockets have chipped and or broken teeth, I would assume from the previous owners lack of maintenance. It would appear to me that both sprockets and chain need to be replaced. To remove the driven sprocket does one need to remove the top panelling?

I'm sorry but I don't have subtitles entered, and it is a long process to do. If there were an automatic way I'd do it but there isn't one that I've found.
