Wonderful. Thank you for preserving and making available this great historic farm equipment video. This is the kind of demonstration video we would have been shown at the New Holland dealer's Farmer's Lunch Day. A fantastic feast of a meal, tons of shiny, cutting edge new equipment on display, lots of sales literature, and talks from trained specialist equipment professionals. It was heady stuff for a young farm boy, let me tell you! Great memories. :)

The 800's put New Holland on the map,... but I truely miss the "whine" of the Super 717's in the early summer,.... they were all over the countryside,... and you could hear them daily, at work,... good time's long gone.........

Say you plugged it or needed to stop quickly. How did you stop the chopper of it was engine driven vs pto? Was there a disengagement within reach of the tractor seat?

What year was the ad made in? I’m not that familiar with old new holland equipment I have only worked with a 2002 new holland tractor a early 2000s v rake and a early 2000s rake

This ad was made in 1958. New Holland has always produced quality machines as long as they are taken care of. We still have a Super 77 square baler from the 50s that will produce the best square bales as if it was brand new.

MenWithTractors yeah they make pretty good equipment that new holland I drove was my freinds dads tractor and he has never had a problem with it other then the clutch is worn and the rear tires had to be replaced this summer
