They’d be taking a risk by sending on to Wes but if it did well it would be one of the best advertisements they could ever make for the baler

Have to have a demo. 45 years construction. Bought only Caterpillar and Case. New Holland wanted me to demo backhoe, loader. Had for a week demo. Operators used about 4 hours, would not get back in. Finally, I learned the salesmanship never ran or new anything about the Job. Only had company stores. Didn't waste time again with them. Wes is exact correct to check out the third party stories.

Thinking it said our customers come first ? Ha bought a BC5070 last year had around 700 bales through it and the bale plunger pin fell out while it was packing a flake ,feeder forls hit it sheared a inch and a quarter shift off Dealer service truck came out cleaned everything off ,there where all sorts of bolts loose , never torqued down at the factory dealer took it back and went through it hats off to the dealer service team ,running like it should now

I will be watching in anticipation as New Holland do very well in europe and I really hope they step up and get an honest opinion from a bailing specialist. its fair enough trying to sell a bailer to a farmer that only uses it once a year but when you using them flat our 24/7 it is contractor territory and a whole new ball game.

We had this baler at our farm. It is an impressive machine, you do get the bale density in dry first and second cutting hay. That damn crop cutter is definitely a bullshit setup. Lowers the flow of the crop. Just cant beat a hesston(Massey Ferguson). But to each their own. It's not that it's a bad machine but its alot of money and definitely see future electrical problems.

I'm not sure if they still make a large square baler any more but out west Freedman Baler was the baler to have. Granted I was 12 or so but they were well made and a lot of ranches that sold hay used them or Heston. And as always you give you honest opinion.

I recall timing an old OLF video; he was moving through very heavy windrows at a speed that amazed me. By actual timing, he was dropping bales every 45 seconds (== 80 bales per hour). The clip only gave me two timings, though; I wish it had lasted for several more cycles. Decades ago, I spent a lot of hours running an idiot-block baler at little more than walking speed ... Wes can bale more hay in about 10 minutes than I ever baled in an entire day.

At 11:05ish I like the idea of the Jetsons baler no compaction AT ALL! Do they have a Jetsons tractor to pull it? The problem I foresee is fyre unless they have a horizontal system similar to vertical system to motivate the tractor and baler along the ground 😉 New Holland should go one step further and add an antigravity unit to the bales as they are formed so the bales can stack themselves on the stack wagon or even better in the storage you have near the house although I’d bet a lot of MUFON reports would be generated in New Jersey Thanx Wes lovin’ you videos from just east of Krapramento, California the Krapital/Krapitol

@vafaningetnamnledigt14 жыл бұрын
The most custommers doesnt bale the amount of bales as you. Here Krone doesn’t sell to many mainly because off the pricetag. They are ok but not to good if you bale 3-4000 bales a year for that 50% higher price. Parts dont come cheap either and Krone do break. Did run a Krone BigM for a few years....
@jesstroo4 жыл бұрын
I have owned a Heston and switched to a Krone and I can tell you the parts price is about the same the difference is the Krone will punch ten bales out with Less issues then the heston

@@jesstroo I have no knowledge about hesston at all. Just CNH and Krone. Krone roundbalers cant compare at all with McHale wich are in a differentiera league.

I do agree with the mchale round balers are in a top league of their own. I still run a nh 648 cheaper baler but a solid baler it has around 15000 bales on it the only issue I have had is the electric sensors for the twine and net actuators. I have a nh tr combine and it is in my opinion the best threshing design and service ability.
@Ham682294 жыл бұрын
Those are small looking windrows, of course this is straw that's being baled. Let's see it bale regular hay crop instead of straw. If NH actually does send you a baler to test out, would be nice to see the comparison between the Krone and NH. Don't think Krone will be beat. If my memory serves, Krone is pretty much designed by farmers, hay farmers. Put it against the Krone, want to see this is. We left NH in the early 80's, (haying equipment), due to exactly the same issues you encountered. Cheers :)

Could run an old chain round baler over them little windrows probably damn near as fast as they were going in that video. Not real impressed with the pick up. Surely a brand new baler could handle a windrow that rubs the bottom of the tractor. But nonetheless, im a round baler guy, simple and easy baling, so you can pretty much guess how mind blowing this shit is as far as the technology all the other stuff. Im ready to see Wes put 'er to the test. This will be good.

I sure had to laugh when you read the part about their customers being important to them. CNH left me high and dry for over 4 months waiting for backordered parts on a brand new tractor last year. Meanwhile, the tractor is sitting torn apart in so many pieces you couldn't even tell what it was. Some dealers definitely care about their customers, but big corporations could care less! Let's see if they will step up and redeem themselves in front of everyone they have done wrong- I doubt they will lol

If New Holland really believe they have a good baler they should provide you with one. Everyone knows how unimpressed you've been with their older balers, so if the new one compares favorably in some aspects to the Krone, and leaves you impressed with how far they've come, then surely that's got to be win-win situation.
