I Love this foundation . I’m 59 and have Titian red hair so I’m very fair skinned . I disliked all foundation until I bought this one I just wore my tinted sunscreen and maybe a dab of cover up if needed . Stila looks so natural, feels great and my skin looks better then it ever has looked! I wear Fair 1. It doesn’t change color or cake or get dry or shiny! Thank you !

Went to get a sample last night. HOLY MOLY!!! You are so right!! I look great! Leaves my skin feeling like soft skin, not tacky with foundation or dry. I do love my AmorePacific Cushion Compact. And the Tarte Foundcealer actually worked quite nicely for me. But this Stila works on me the way you always describe the Chanel working for you. Doesn’t look like makeup sitting on my skin. I used a sponge. Looks beautiful. I’m awaiting delivery of my BK foundation brush and look forward to trying this Stila with that brush. Thanks Angie!!

Just tried this today. I’m 50, I have normal to dry skin. I used a moisturizer but no primer and applied with a beauty blender. I don’t mind it so far but i found i kept removing it when I’d go over it with my beauty blender. I had to really wring the blender out first. I don’t mind this stuff but found it did settle in the wrinkles around my mouth :( and didn’t hide my pores that great, It seams to have a matte finish. I will try it again a few different ways to see what works best. So far it’s not too bad. One of my faves I’ve been using for about 4 years is the Chanel one in the beige bottle sorry forgot the name of it.... Angie uses the one in the black. I find the stilla one very close to the Chanel one. The cons on this are about the same as my Chanel one. Good points so far are that it is very skin like and doesn’t feel cakey or that I have makeup on, Smooth finish but even the Chanel one settles in my wrinkles ... I think as we get older there aren’t many that don’t do that :(. Side note...I’m using a 8x magnifying mirror to see the settling in my wrinkles...looking in a normal mirror I don’t really see it :)

I think it will be replacing Estee Lauder Double Wear as my holy grail foundation - and I didn’t think I would ever find a foundation I liked better than that. Thank you for this review. I originally watched this video when you first posted it and wound up buying this foundation during the pandemic...and never tried it! I finally used it yesterday and WOW, I LOVE IT! I used a brush to apply, about 2 pumps for my full face. I have very dark under-eye circles and I felt like it covered that area well, too. Very nice to find a light, smooth, hydrating but non-oily foundation with moderate coverage that looks and feels fresh. Thank you!

watched the video and immediately went out and bought it. OMG, you are right. Amazing. I have used the Chanel since 2016 on your suggestion, then bought the new version when you posted your video. I like it because I don't have to powder the final product, but the fragrance can be overwhelming and can really sting if it seeps in my eyelash line. Stila doesnt give me the eye sting issue (so far) and no scent is a blessing. I do have to set this, I don't like my skin to feel tacky, but, so little powder is needed I don't mind at all. Thanks again, you knocked it out of the park in this recommendation. You are awesome.

I haven't watched your videos in about 2 years..your videos helped me find my "holy grail" which "used to be" Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Ochre. Unfortunately as so many do they reformulated and now it is NOTHING what it used to be..so back to searching (again). As much as I hate this process of buying expensive foundations/moisturizers to find "the one"..your videos are the BEST. You seem to have the same color match.."ochre" was not a color I would have gone for but it was my favorite color on me..your skin tone seems to agree with mine. I dont always have the same experience as you (I personally do not like Chanel or IT Cosmetics)..Chanel feels heavy and "itches" my face, IT separated and also felt heavy. But you are so thorough it eliminates me from alot of guess work and expensive purchases. It still is painful to now look for a replacement but so glad you are still here. THANK YOU for all you do..your videos far out do any of the others (Im 59 by the way so appreciate how you talk to more mature faces).

I have normal/dry skin and really appreciate that even though you have normal/combo oily skin, you don’t limit your reviews to just your skin type. I am 63 and I tried this foundation after this review and it just came off way to dry on my skin. I tried with and without sunscreen and also with and without primer. Same result so I took it back. For me the Maybelline Urban Dream Cover you did a review on works much better for me and is cheaper....win win! Thanks for all the info and research you put out there for all of us.

This is such a beautiful foundation. I don't think I've ever had as close a color match. I'd recommend it to folks with dry skin, too! The shade range is a little lacking on the fair end of things; I'm usually a few shades in and am Fair 2 in this. Thank you for all your work!

Angie, you were not imagining! This foundation looked great on your skin. It is something to consider because Stilla does not market its brand as much as other brands. On a different note, I have ordered the Sephora foundation and I am loving it. It is not drying and has great staying power, except I chose a shade that was darker than my skin. I love this foundation. It is just the right amount of everything. It also feels so light and airy. The only foundation I like more is Nyx Born to Glow. That's just because Nyx dries down to feel like a powdery silk and its a bit more luminous. Oh, and it's 10 bucks!! I honestly never would have even tried the Nyx if I hadn't received a sample with my Ulta purchase. So glad to have both these foundations.

Angie, I just purchased this and applied it for the first time. I have deep wrinkles and applying it with my fingers doesn't work. I used a brush to try and smooth out the settling and it helped but it was mostly dry. I have not worn foundation in many years so I am a bit rusty. I will continue to practice because it did reduce the appearance of dark areas and evened out my skin tone. I am 67 so this will probably be the best type of foundation for my wrinkles (and ruts LOL). I'll report in again... Love your videos & vlogs!

HotandFlashy will do! A recommendation from you and Lisa sounds like a winner for me. My holy grail is EL Double Wear. I’m a 46 year old ICU nurse and need my makeup to last 12 hours + and not smudge/smear with face masks/shields and if I get sweaty from CPR or turning/bathing obese people! But on my days off I want a more natural foundation that doesn’t need to hold up as good as the Double Wear. This could be a good foundation for non work days. As it is, on my days off I just wear Bare Minerals. I like the extra mineral sunscreen in it and natural look. I can wear it to the gym too, because it actually looks better with a little sweat. But it’s nice to have options! Sometimes I want a lighter foundation with no sunscreen just to wear at night if I have a dinner to go to as well.

Angie!! Thank you so much for this review! After watching this, I decided to try it & I LOVE it!! I am in my late 50’s as well & have had a hard time finding a foundation that does not look cakey. This one is fabulous! Thank you!

I have to tell you that is my favorite foundation on you ever! It is the most natural by far. Maybe flash test fail was from the powder? I don’t wear foundation because they are always too heavy and settle into pores and wrinkles (63 years 🙃). Might have to give this a try after investigation of all ingredients. Contact allergies. Thanks for doing what you do.
