Love your videos. What sets you apart from the other lawn care channels is you don't blah blah blah for 5 minutes telling us what you're gonna do. You show the job and then get on it. Great job. 👍

You're right. One guy has a lawn care video who spends HALF the video gabbing about nonsense before starting the lawn mower. When Fill shows the yard to be mowed, we can see what needs to be done without a premowing lecture.

I know it would have been hard to see your childhood home in such a condition. It certainly would have clashed with your childhood memories, and how your own family maintained the property. Sometimes its best never to look back because of those reasons. But I do respect your resilience and your need to help. You are a good man Fill. You care, and that's what makes you shine.

So glad you got to clean up your childhood home's yard so you have a good memory of it as you move away.. Sure made a huge difference, hope they will keep it up now. Sometimes when people move in all the time is spent getting everything the way they want it on inside & then they finally notice the whole outside has gone to pot & don't know what to do. Kitty approved so that's good!

The entire yard care portion was cleverly ASMR. This was very relaxing, and incredible to behold. Your order of operations is logical, experienced, and intuitive. Having this sense of generosity is the pinnacle of humanity. My hat's off to whoever raised you. I do not see how having human decency is somehow a blessing. If you believe it is, then fine. It is mind-boggling how you manage to find any opportunity to proselytize instead of having your viewers marvel at your noble gestures. This alone will move them to act in a similar fashion. To me, that is far more a sense of accomplishment; to influence others to act in kind, and not to falsely concern themselves in being a blessing just for doing so.

Thanks for prompting childhood home memories! Ten years ago, Hubby and I added to our farming operation when we acquired from my folks' estate the 80 acre century farm where my siblings and I grew up. The old house and all of the worn, old farm buildings had already been razed and most of the area converted back into crop production...except for a small part of the yard where the house stood. Two trees, the old well and a small flower bed, older than the 65 years that I am, remain. It may seem silly to others, but I mow that patch of yard every week. It represents fond memories for me. I even named the two trees after my folks! Ha! Thankful for what we own. We do our best to care for and maintain, but we hold onto it all loosely, since we regard it all as belonging to the Lord and that we are the caretakers. His love and provision for us is not based on what or how much we do or do not own. Looking forward to that permanent home in heaven someday!

Hi, Fill! My mom lived in the same house for 65 years, which is the house where I grew up. I lived with her and took care of her the last few years of her life. She lived in a very nice house on 2 1/2 city lots. I maintained the house and kept the large yard in perfectly manicured condition. She died five years ago and I sold the house. I had not seen it since she died, so I recently made a point to drive by. The property has been trashed with junk and trash everywhere in addition to old broken down cars and waist high weeds. The house has had little or no maintenance. Although I have pleasant memories of growing up in that house, seeing it in its present condition was very disheartening.

The place I called home for many years was sold when my Dad died. He kept his property beautifully groomed. Lawn mowed, edged ( he would use scissors in places) trees trimmed , grass green and gorgeous. After Mom died he stopped growing a vegetable garden and started growing sunflowers and people would drive down the ally to see them. The person who bought it, let everything die and go to crap. The buyer was so excited to have such a well kept house and beautiful fenced in property but did not take care of it from the beginning. I will not drive by there again. Nope not worth the heartache.
