This home, assuming it hasn’t sold already, is priced and marketed as a luxury home ($2 million and up is where luxury begins), but doesn’t look or feel like a luxury home. The home is very poorly staged. You have sitting areas that no one will use. One where the study or home office should be on the first floor, and on the second floor landing. No “wow factor” when entering the foyer. The first thing you see are the stairs and no way to judge the depth of the house. No pot filler in the kitchen. The bedrooms, primary bedroom included, are small. The finishes, for the most part, are bland. The builder/designer went for “safe” rather than bold and contemporary. The garage floor is not epoxied. No pool. And no room to put one in since the lot is tiny and the backyard sloped, which indicates poor lot utilization by the builder. No real privacy. It fronts a busy street. I could think of a lot more, but the point is that this house is way overpriced. A buyer who can afford this house can find better in the State of Maryland at a third of the price.
