🌿I’ll preface this by saying that I am past the stage of furnishing homes. However, I love to follow trends, and to purchase pieces here and there to refresh the look of my home. My visits to 2 Home Sense stores where I live in New England left me not impressed. Sure, there was a huge variety of just about everything. Also, the stores are very large so you need the time to devote to touring around. I found the stores’ “ ambiance” very sterile - similar in feel to Bed, Bath and Beyond. The stores were not as neat and organized as yours, maybe due to lots of shoppers. I agree with you, Katie, that for those of us looking for decorative pieces, bed and bath supplies, etc., then Home Goods is a better resource. I understand why, at your stage in life, this store would be a great find”. I prefer a store with a much smaller footprint for just poking around 😊 Sending you my best wishes with baby! ❤️

We have one 20 minutes from me, I've been there a couple of times. It was so nice at Christmas. They are all owned by the same company as Home Goods and At Home. All 3 stores are in the same complex 20 minutes away but the At Home store is opening soon in our town. The rugs there are amazing! I bought a beautiful one for our guest room. There's a Homesense near me that's been there for quite a while & it seems to me like all the things you're wondering about being maintained (the organization, undamaged goods, cleanliness, etc.) is still true at my store years later! :) I usually find that Homesense is better for the bigger stuff, while Home Goods is better for decorative accents. They're pretty similar, but serve slightly different needs. PS: I'm w/ Brian on the lack of clutter in Homesense! Homegoods makes me want to leave after being there for about 2 minutes! lol!

Katie - enjoy your new HomeSense! The size reminds me more of At Home (which leaves me too overwhelmed to shop). My city has a HomeSense (I think it’s been here around 3 years) - it will start to look more cluttered as time goes on. 😉 You would laugh at the area where mine is located - HomeSense right next to TJMaxx, a few stores down is Marshall’s and a few more is Home Goods! 😂 It’s fun to go in all 4 to see what’s in common and different. Hahaha yeah in the US HomeSense is meant to be the 4th sister store in the lineup featuring more furniture like big items and a ton of lighting!! I think Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are very similar but HomeSense and HomeGoods are very different from each other and the other two!
