Some people are like you. Some people are like them. It's just how it is. I personally love video games so I always watch movies based on games, even if they're usually very poorly reviewed because of inconsistencies in the canon lore and all that. I try to take them as two different things entirely so that I can be open to the movie, but also mindful of the lore, and all other criteria that I personally consider. Some people rely solely on the opinion of their favorite KZbin critic. However, there are lots of shows or movies that I will straight up ignore because I know it's not for me or it's actual garbage water. Like that Batwoman show and this new Robynhood trash. All the horrible shit they're doing to our old Disney stories. But, if you enjoy something then don't let someone take that from you. We don't all have to agree.

Suitable Flesh looks like a PROPER mind trip. Something that looks like a cross between a Lovecraftian horror scenario, a fatal romance story and something you'd see from the 90s. :P Probably helps that Heather Graham seems like she's chewing up the furniture with her character portrayal. ;)

Most of the movies get trailers dropped for them 1-3 months before release. Not quite sure WHY, since if I see something interesting I want to watch, I would LONG since have forgotten it by the time the movie ACTUALLY becomes available to watch.
