The characters and their horses are from the comic series of the Schleich Horse Club (which of course also has the figures to play with). The washing station is an exact copy of what the washing station in a playset looks like. A lot of collectors went wild when they saw the first game, literally going “that’s exactly like the playset!!!” every five seconds 🤣 This second game has more features than the first, like leading and interacting with the horse, more different types of competitions than just racing and jumping, and getting a dog that follows you around.

I loved the first one and I agree with you. I can't place it, but it brings me back to my childhood for some reason and I really like the cutesy art style and how you're accepted into the group. In the first one there's quests where you spend time with each character and it was just cute. Definitely going to be getting this one!

You sold me this game, and I'm glad for it. This little girlie game has shown the big guys how it's done. Apart from the really saddening animations, the awesome gameplay and aesthetics takes this game to the top of my list. Not to mention the music, it is so calming. Side quest have been implemented in a way it is so enjoyable and not grindy at all. Hope there will be more, for example a separate game for every season, winter would be amazing.

The one horse game that I use to play on my playstation 2 was Lucinda Greens Equestrian Challenge, released in 2006. That game still has REALLY good graphics and animations for the time period. It was actually quite realistic compared to other games of time. The cross country for me was the most difficult to maneuver. I loved that game. I had tried to find the PC version but it is not being sold anymore, and for some time there were PC versions for sale on amazon, but they were like $100 cause the PC game can be considered a collection item as it is not being sold anymore.

Thank you for mentioning the lack of male / masculine characters! As a guy who rides horses irl and enjoys playing these sorts of games, it’s always a bit disappointing when there aren’t male characters. Plus some male characters look janky and clearly don’t have as much effort put in them as the female characters

This one is definitly better than the first part 🥰 It's basically a point A to B simulator, but it's cute and aimed towards a young audience so it's not surprising. As someone who grews up with shleich figurines and horse games, those games makes me happy

when I was a kid there was no horse games 🥲 I think.. but I had Zelda: ocarina of time and that was my horse game. I rode Epona all over hyrule field and she looked like my irl horse which made it more special. I need to play again 💜

It is ‘inspired by schleich’ because everything in the game is actually a schleich set! The house and stable is actually a set you can purchase! Then the ‘horse club’ group are actually the main group for schleich horse club! Idk if that makes sense but that’s what it’s about I suppose :)

Inspired by schelich means that they took all the characters and their back stories from schleich. As someone who actualy collects schleich myself I can confirm that. I own all of the 4 girls in the horse club aswell 😁

Idk if you'll even see this comment but I love your videos and I would love love love if you would play Let's Ride Silver Buckle Stables! It's the horse game I practically grew up on and Steam has it for like $5! You have full creative control over your horses and character and you can take your horse out on rides in the wilderness and also compete in competitions! It's super fun and casual and seems like it'd the be a game you'd really enjoy playing!

I played horse games when I was younger but nothing like this aesthetic, like I refused to play the Barbie games because I hated Barbie 😅 So when I bought the first Horse club adventures, I didn’t finish it ‘cause for me it looked too much like sso without fast travel so it doesn’t give me that nostalgic feeling like you experienced but I can understand why ☺️

Thank you for standing up about no male characters in these games. As a genderfluid person i would love to have to option. It's so stupid to me that horse games hold on to only having female characters because 'thats what the game is about'. Especially star stable has a huge issue with this. At one point in a quest they said that concorde is a filly instead of a colt eventhough the horses of the soulriders are normally male. And Rianon said "a soul is not defined by gender" so even though the horses are usually male they can be female sometimes. Which is the perfect resoning to put male characters into the story. Because eventhough the soulriders are usually female, a soul(rider) is not defined by gender. But for some reason they still refuse to do anything about it.
