You usually put the red hoselock end connector on the other end. This means you can change hose nozzels without wasting water. Hope it helps

What everyone has said already bud... Cant really weed and seed at the same time... Also in my experience even on a budget can't scrimp on the seed. Buying a decent one not a cheap one from like Wilko's or something will make all the difference really. This is where I made my mistake for years sadly and wasted a lot of my own time. Nobody saying anything about the mushrooms that come up after you apply the 4 in 1. I am looking for something that will weed, feed and moss kill without putting another problem into the lawn.

it's not recommended to seed a lawn for two months after you use a 4 in1 lawn product. it kills off all seeds at the germination stage both weed and grass. it looked like you went over the patch you have just reseeded

Get yourself some pre seed ferterlizer from somewhere like A1 lawns online. I put some seed down about 2 weeks ago and put the ferterlizer down at the same time and had amazing results. As the others have said..... Avoid any 4 in 1 type of ferterlizer that contain weed killers and you'll soon see great results.
