One of the main problems that is harming players is the contracts part, they are all bugged, when you manage to do it they don't pay you anything, and when you try any of them your position is not recognized in the elevators, unfortunately people are unable to make money or lose the little they managed to make.

Adapt! There's more to Star Citizen than contract missions! Cargo hauling, drug smuggling, ship mining, vehicle mining, hand mining, scavenging, robbery (killing NPCs and taking their stuff to sell), medical rescues, travel beacons, refueling, and salvage. Just rent something or join up as crew. I've made millions salvaging.

@@DamonCzanik I understand your point, but most of the things you mentioned are contracts and they don't work, I like hauling, I'm a solo player, I just wish I could play something that works and has one of the specialties I chose to do, if it's in the game it should work fine, let's see what CIG will fix, this 4.0 is definitely broken.

@@GamerExtremeBrasil The contracts not working are container based, meaning that only contracts in certain areas don't work. Do not do hauling contracts around the Stanton Gateway or Monox, as they are bugged. So long as you do contracts in areas that register completion it's best to stick with those for now. A lot of the missions aruond Mircotech and Hurston also work.

This can't come soon enough. I like 4.0, but it is ridiculously buggy. 1) Contracts aren't always fullfilled 2) Quantum jumps from Area 18 to Baijini take you to the middle of nowhere 3) Hangar doors close and destroy ships 4) Your ship disappears when your hangar opens - even if you are seated in it and powered on 5) Tractor tools disappear when you holster them 6) Hauling contract sometimes items don't appear in your inventory 7) C2 Hercules tip over unless you open the front and back doors together 8) Some crates cannot be moved 9) The log-in queue is sometimes greater than 280 and the client will time out before you can connect. 10) Sometime storing a ship will mark it as "destroyed". 11) The Client will normally crash if you hauling mission has too many boxes

I haven't been able to login since Christmas Eve because error 60030. I hope the hotfix lets people login to the game. It's wild that's the standards we're having these days for hotfixes and updates. Just wanting the game to let us get in hahaha sheesh

I finally got to play yesterday after being away for a few weeks. The mission I chose disappeared just as I got to it. A bug caused me to die while "trespassing". Lost my subscriber armour because of it. Got put in Klescher. Served my time. Tried to leave. Could not leave. Jumped out of the bugged elevator hoping for the best. Fell into space. Backspaced hoping it would put me at Everus considering I had served my time. It gave me a crimestat 2 for my troubles. Had to do a character reset. Respawn at MT. Still have the crimestat 2. Pay the fine... Have a permanent crimestat 2...

I had that same issue long ago- The trick I did, was to load Arena Commander - once I get into the, I spend about 5-8 minutes.. then try to login to Star Citizen, see if that works..

I log in but it isn’t much better none of the elevators worked. Just stuck in area 18. Day later elevators worked but ships couldn’t take off.

so many login issues, desktop crashes, computer freezes or blackscreen, long queues, shard freezes or lockups. once your in the game, can’t pull ships or hangars chew ships up, elevators don’t work, no missions, can’t loot or access inventory, ships stop working completely in flight

@@_TrueDesire_ Cyberpunk 1.0 was waaaaaay worse. LKHD uploaded a recent video of a playthrough on the PS4 with 1.0 and it's so much worse than SC 4.0 it's not even funny. He had to stop playing because it was just nearly impossible to do anything smoothly at all due to stutters, lots of entities breaking missions and graphical bugs preventing him from progressing.

This is a much welcomed update. I find early morning US times, servers are great but once mid day comes like 12pm to 7pm, servers are slammed. Getting in at those times is nearly impossible and if you are already in when the wave of players come, your game crashes or things stop working like missions. I really hope something comes tomorrow.

I cant even get in the game with out experiencing 10 to 15 second lag EVER TIME i use my inventory or mobi glass, not to mention the main menu is all blocky and laggy. I really hope this patch fixes that otherwise I cant play 4.0

Soooo needed, a lot of people can't load in or get ships out, let alone the pipe dream of doing a mission lol. I'm at 6 days where all I can do is a train ride around New Babbage and nothing else 😂

@johnzoidberg1160 yep, daily routine is train ride to check on non functional hangar elevator. Check outside at ground garage and commons for abandoned ships/rides and use idiot looking emotes..... cos you know global chat doesn't work either 😆. All the usual work arounds..... that only SC can make you do... don't work. It's just a wait it out situation ......soon

Took me 4 to 5 days to get out of klescher on Aus server. 0min sentence bug got me in there, funnily enough, the time I was trapped was the most stable 4.0 has been for me haha.

Alpha and bla-bla-bla is never the cause to so much regression we have in 4.0! It's just a shame! I'm developer too (not a game-one, but) and I know what I'm talking about. When so many different things that worked stop working with update - it's a big deal in dev skill rating! I just hope that the company with so much money could afford to have really good developers!

4.0 is not live, it is a demo, people need to chill, devs were forced to work over holidays and this entire thing will bite them in the rear. They never should have done the preview of 4.0, they should have waited and now ifs a massive mess.
