Hourglass really does have some of the most gorgeous packing on the market! The bronzer has a very pretty undertone to it. All the powders looked amazing on your skin and I agree, definitely had a beautiful smoothing effect of the skin!

I am NC42 and was going to buy this palette but I pretty much own all the shades. I was so excited for my sister who is darker than me. She has never been able to experience these amazing powers and now that I watched your video I understand why people are disappointed with this launch. it's great that we are able to enjoy this, but so many more cannot say the same. To say nothing and pretend that there is not a problem is being part of the problem

Your hair is so pretty here. I love the pinkish hue. LOVE IT! I love watching you do makeup. I mean, I'm fairly artistic (I paint and stuff), but I wouldn't mind a video on all of the brushes you use AND the various powders for various events and occasions. For example, we're having an amazing warm September and I'm training for a walkathon; however, I still like a little bit of make up so I'm using my mineral Mac powder, which is my favourite powder (it's better than the Dior I got). However, come winter, I doubt I can get away with using any powder; my skin will just start peeling. Anyway... just a suggestion.

@@heyjess Thanks Jess. Things are changing yearly now! lol :-) Things that worked for me for years... well, I am 45 and have almost no wrinkles so I shouldn't complain. Still, I really need to up my game, which is why I'm spending all this money on SkinFix. I want to still look good in 5, 10, 15 years. Essences have really gained a lot of value in my eyes, too. Especially the Dior essence is amazing. You look so beautiful with that hair. It really suits you. I don't think it'd suit just anyone.

Since I'm combo skin, would I set with powder and then go over with this pallet or vise versa?

So these are mostly finishing powders. So once you’re done with your whole face of makeup go back over and light dust it across the face. It blurs the skin and leaves a nice veil. For dry skin I use this as an actual face powder because it’s so light and doesn’t settle in. However the more tan shade I use as bronzer too. These powders are multi faceted really! I hope that helps?

I just got their newest 6 pan palette that just came out a couple of months ago. The 2 light shades in the one u showed looks the same as 2 of the colors in the one I have. The bronzer shade looks different than the bronzer in the one I have but I’m just wondering if the 2 light shades r the same ones I already have! I just thought maybe u would know if the colors in yours were all new colors and formulas. I’m hoping u understand this! Lol! If not I’ll try and figure it out! Lol!🤪

hey jill!! Are you talking about the sculpture palette??? I don't think these are new formulas. The same good stuff as in the other ones. I think two of the shades in the mini sculpture unlocked ( the 4 pan palette) are the same as in this new trio I have. The two top ones. While I appreciate you keeping your channel drama-free & fun, I wish you’d given more pause to how this brand continues to exclude people with tan to deeper complexions. I love my hourglass ambient lighting powders (there is nothing like them on the market tbh), but I feel this is surpassing just being a mildly controversial brand. Imagine if hourglass ambient lighting powders never made shades you could wear? Wouldn’t you like to enjoy their products, given that the entire beauty community/ internet hypes them up so much? No shade or hate, just wanted to give my two cents 💕

There are so many brands out there that I adore their products but think they are questionable or shady in business practice. That foundation color really is the wrong tone for your skin. You have cool toned skin and that is really good and looking yellow. You should try a neutral or even better a cool toned foundation and add warmth with bronzer. Just saying!

Hey friend! Thanks for watching! So I don’t always wear this foundation mix. I do different mixes everyday. I actually but mostly neutral to warm tone shades but every now and then I get the shade matches wrong online. Sometimes lighting really makes things appear different than in real time as well.
