NEW HOUSE Christmas Decorate + Bake // What I Got My Kids For Christmas 2023
Cream Cheese Cookies
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 package (18.5oz) yellow or devils food cake mix
Cream butter and cheese. Blend in egg yolk and vanilla. Add cake mix (dry), 1/3 at a time, mixing well after each addition. (If mixer is used, add last third of cake mix by hand.) Cover; chill 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Drop by level teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Yields: 6-8 dozen.

Kelly I agree with you about the moving of the sofa. When Christmas has passed you could put a plant n the corner . A tip when you move the sofa put a throw over the back as that will be one of you main entrances and the kiddos will touch it and then you will get a messy back end of your sofa. Your house is really coming along nicely.

One of the main design rules is always float your large furniture. Especially sofas and chairs. People for some reason tend to push all of their furniture against the walls which actually makes your room look smaller and less cozy. Definitely switch your couch around like you want to. It will look amazing! You have done such a great job. Your house looks beautiful.

We love those cookies! My mother in law used to make those every year. She would make lots of them and freeze them so we would have them for a while. She put cream cheese frosting on the top and red and green sprinkles. Now , we make them in memory of her. I make homemade cream cheese frosting and they are delicious! Love ❤️ them. 🦋

Hey Kelly, Happy Sunday. Bikes are great gifts for kids no matter their age as long as they’re showing interest in them. I would love getting a new bike once every 2 or 3 years as a kid. ❤ That 3D printer will be a great addition to your home schooling and it will definitely be useful for years to come.
