As a teacher, I appreciate all the effort you went in to when providing and purchasing school supplies! I know sometimes parents get very upset when supplies are requested, but believe me us teachers appreciate all donations!

Yes, I am a teacher and we get $100 per school year to purchase what we need. My school doesn’t provide any disinfecting wipes or sanitizer so I rely on parent donations for those. Thank you to all the generous parents who give us what we need to teach and keep our children safe 🙌

My baby just started Pre-K in Chicago....so I guess they didn't ask for any supplies just for students to wear uniform....I met the teacher on my baby's assessment day and was impressed by her , such a nice teacher and very patient...I was terrified when my baby started monday but I definitely wanted to make her a basket with hand soap...disenfecting wipes , Kleenex etc....my baby said she was so happy and also added a Halloween gift from bath and body... we even gave water bottles & treats to our school bus driver...I appreciate all their work..I'm the kind of mom that if I have it I don't mind spending it specially to our del drivers , nurses and in general.

Great video! Two small tips I think are important to share. Never put your child’s name on a school bag or something that visible they will carry around when u are not there. Predators can then call out their name and lure them in claiming they know their parents or something. The kid won’t make the link that the stranger knew their name because of the school bag. Also maybe just me being paranoid Bri but cut those grapes at least in half for Presley. Landon probably old enough to eat them whole. Love you !!!

WOW....I feel so old when we went to school no napsack, we carried everything by hand, it was so much fun to watch what kids need these days, it,s alot, now my son got a paper with everything he needed he is now 23, and I don,t even remember having to pack all those things, yes paper, pencils, binder, lunch box, etc, but what an eye opener that was, was very interesting to watch, Thanks for showing all that, GOODLUCK TO YOUR KIDS ON THEIR FIRST DAY, IT,S ALWAYS EXCITING..

Wow you guys have to provide so much for school, in the Uk the kids literally take a bag, water bottle, lunch box, gym kit and a pencil case. Everything else is provided in school like art supplies, jotters hand soap etc. Love the kids school bags amazing prints 🤩

Great video! Unfortunately open windows bring in quite a bit of dust along with the fresh air. We have a robot vacuum that we use daily just to keep up. I highly recommend if you don’t have one already. Also, the matching school gear is so cute, but if you can remove their names from the backpacks you might want to do so. Police recommend not having anything kids wear to have their names visible so that strangers can’t use it to call their names and pretend a familiarity with them. Sad that we have to think that way - but better safe than sorry.

That school supply haul & prep was intense. My biggest source of concern this time of year is carving out time for HW assist/study or review with the kids (I have to know what they're learning), taking them to their extracurriculars, getting me-time, and then getting time to clear my work desk. I live in Australia, about 200 metres from the beach so we get a sea breeze every day so we open up all of the windows (we only use the AC about 5 times a Summer) because it feels amazing BUT by the end of the day, the entire house (tiles, carpets, blinds, furniture) feels sticky from the salt spray and humidity... Of course living by the beach is such a blessing but cleaning while there is salt spray and humidity SUCKS 😂

Thats crazy the amount of stuff the schools ask you guys to spend for each child. In the UK we just send the kids in and they have all the supplies there for them. They have an empty book bag and a water bottle and they just send reading material home in their bag. I watch a few American mamas and watching all the prep you have to do to send the kids back to school blows my mind! The house is looking great though! Well done on all your hard work, it's definitely paying off 😊

I label the boxes of crayons and markers, not each individually. Also I don’t label the cleaning supplies/paper towels bc those are usually shared for the entire class. Nice back packs for the kids!

This video makes me realize I just have way too many clothes for my kids and it’s no wonder the laundry never ends! I’m constantly slaving away. I will be donating getting rid of a lot myself! Just going to keep the new and nice clothes for the kids and that’s it! The minimization really made me take a different approach to my lifestyle. Here in the states ( I know you are still in US), but people tend to hoard a lot more. I am definitely guilty to say the least! I’m learning to get rid of more and enjoy my time too with the kids rather than just slaving in the home! 🙏🌞

My kids are back September 1st. That’s a lot of stuff for school. In Belgium, all our school supplies are provided by the school except for the backpack, water bottle and lunchbox. Its all covered from taxes.
