I couldn’t figure out why I feel so drawn to this family. Then I realized, very few people grow up in this type of wholesome family. For so many, watching Ellie, Jared, and the boys is the closest some of us will ever get to it. They are great role models. I also want others to know, you can create whatever kind of family you want, even if you didn’t come from a wholesome peaceful family. I’m sending love to anyone who feels lonely this season ❤️

I want so badly to have Christmas like this, filled with such happiness and contentment. I lost our first sweet babes at the beginning of last year. The holiday were so hard and heart breaking for me. Especially after thinking i was starting to finding peace and healing with the lose of our first baby. It was so hard knowing our little one should have been with us during the holidays. So Thank you for sharing your family's Christmas, it's truly brought me happiness and peace. I Loved seeing how excited the boys were about Santa! Their joy and love for eachother warmed my heart. I know it was also a year of lose for y'all as well but you're strength has giving me courage. Watching this one and then remembering Calvin’s first Christmas where Jackson got “rock” pillows for Christmas shows how fast time flies. What a beautiful family that worked hard for their earnings and experiences the joy in every day life through the ups and downs. Happy New Year!

Hey Ellie :) A tip for baking with kiddos and decorating, put your sprinkles into little bowls and they can do a pinch of sprinkles at a time. Less mess and they will feel they have more control over the decorating. Hope you all had a great Christmas!

At one time I lived in the mountains in NY and also lived in the lower part of NY most of my life! In 2011 we moved to Florida. I still miss having snow around Christmas time. I feel like we never have it here

I grew up in SLC Utah and then into the Pacific Northwest for college and moved to FL and never again could I live in a cold climate!! I love a warm winter more than anything and would never go back to a place that snows!!My 4 kids have never even seen snow and when it gets below 70 here they are cold! 😄.

Im in New Zealand and its summer here. So we have hot sunny Christmases every year. We spend the day swimming and trying to keep cool. We have cold roast meats, different salads, and breads rolls. Sometimes we BBQ. Cold desserts, fresh fruits and drinks with ice. Id love to experience a snowy Christmas.
