Aww it was so sweet to watch the last moments from your old home. I’ve moved several times over the past decade (and twice driving cross country for a move), and it is always so emotional when the house is empty. It’s like, my brain goes: “Nope! Never mind, I don’t wanna move anymore, I’m comfortable.” But once I’m in the new place, it’s only then I get excited. So watching the last cleans for me for me misty-eyed for y’all. I am sorry you are going through the grief of losing loved ones. To me, grief doesn’t necessarily go away, but I did learn to sit with that grief and “live bigger” than that grief. When I see something I know my passed loved one would have liked, I send those loving thoughts out and think how grateful I am to have loved someone I will forever miss. Anyways, I know everyone grieves differently, but I appreciate how open you’ve been on your journey in life. Thanks for an amazing 2022 and best of luck in 2023!

I was married to someone in the military so we moved a lot. We finally bought a house that I loved on one of our postings as we were supposed to be there for a while. However he died in Afghanistan and I ended up moving back to my home town to be near my mum. But I remember the excitement of buying my very own house. It was beautiful with a grand circular stairway and round front hall. Your new house is fantastic. A beautiful open country style that I love. I particularly love the master suite and your gorgeous bathtub. You’re going to make so many wonderful new memories in that house as the girls grow up. I can’t wait to watch you settle in and decorate it. It’s going to be great fun. So have a great 2023. It is sure starting out nicely.

Awww so sweet! Congratulations! We sold our house of 26 years in June. We are building a home that will finally be complete next week! We have lived in our travel trailer and now with my brother in law, and finally finally will get to move into our house in less than 10 days!! What a journey it is isn’t it?? What a beautiful home you have! And yes, cleaning the old house for the last time is sooo emotional. My girls grew up in our last house and it was so so hard to leave! Enjoy your new home!

You will make beautiful memories in your new home I was 17 when we moved and t hat was my only home . I cried a lot . It took me a year before I was able to enjoy my new home that was an hour away Thank you for being so honest . As when I was going through the emotions no one understood. It was definitely for the better but it was still my old home
