Funny enough, though it technically "skips" first cycle, you never actually LEAVE first cycle, so it's more like "beating the game first cycle" that said, it also means this is the only run that actually doesn't fail the happy mask salesman and gets his mask back within the first 72 hours

I'd think that one of the common ways that it ends up happening is that one of the thousands of people playing the game casually/competitively stumbles upon a glitch, after which one of the hundreds of people that are glitch-hunting take notice and say, "Oh, that's an interesting glitch. Let's pull on this thread in various ways and see if it unravels the tapestry." That's how it starts, at least. It ends with hundreds of dedicated glitch hunters all working on the same problem at the same time in a mostly decentralized fashion, figuring things out and building on top of each other's trial and error, until eventually everything slots into place.

@@LunaticJ right obviously theres no current way to do it, if there was people would have done it. i mean something new. its not so much saying "this is a good idea" as saying "this would be interesting to play with". if i knew anything about srm i would 1. know that there was no other way to do it than known methods, or 2. just go play around with things. however since i dont i just sit here and type messages about what i would do were i less lazy. essentially im saying i know, thats what glitch hunting is.
