The bread is a Texas BBQ thing. A slice or 2 of plain white bread, usually on the dry side is given with your meal to soak up the juices. It’s just a BBQ thing. Enjoy it.

I just got back from visiting the parks. I had my lunch there at Hungry Bear. Got the corn ribs plate with a side of baked beans and the strawberry shortcake lemonade. I agree with you on the cole slaw; it was eatable. I was very surprised by the corn ribs though; it did get cold pretty quick. LOVED the beans! The strawberry shortcake lemonade was different; should have gotten another spoon to enjoy the toppings better

Hello!! I just want to say that I trust you in an unimaginable way, I don't miss a single video! I'm organizing my trip in January and I would love your suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Disneyland. What is the most delicious thing that I can't miss??? I don't know if Disneyland has funnel cake that I love or something similar for a cold morning with hot chocolate! Anyway, I know you will recommend me the best of the best!! Thank you!!!

Hey Traver, we are there Sunday (didn’t see your video before out trip). We liked the brisket a fair bit, but it did require the sauce they have out to moisten it some. Also the pickles were really good- did you try them?

I used to love the chili cheeseburger with onion rings that they had. Was hoping they’d bring it back, but it looks like they just replaced it with mediocre bbq items. 🙁 Btw, the slice of bread is a southern thing from what I hear. It’s for soaking up any extra sauce.

Growing up in Texas, plain white bread is often served with BBQ, so it does not seem weird to me. I've seen other reviews that said that the Brisket was dry on the sandwich, but they enjoyed it on the platter. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for the honest review. Will probably skip taking my Texan parents here!

It’s in our Pixar Place video. But I don’t usually include the hotel restaurants. Just the in-park ones. I need to eat more in Downtown Disney/Hotels in order to make one of those videos.

Did you try any of the bbq sauces that were there? I was there on the soft opening. Food was good but not the best bbq I have had but great for a park food.

The banana pudding actually looks great. Edible vs eatable - totally makes sense 😅 I’m disappointed, I don’t like when something looks so different from what they show on the menu. Also I don’t like how the food looks, a total mess, poorly “plated”. I had high expectations for this one…oh well. Thank you for the video 😊

What a trooper! Eating foods you are not a fan of to begin with 😅 I couldn’t do it lol…I’d probably 🤢every time I didn’t like something…like for real 😆 I am such a plain Jane eater and have always been so jealous of others (like my husband, and entire family lol) who can try anything at least once… my tummy just is too sensitive 🥴

It’s so interesting to watch the food reviews. Everyone has their own tastes so it’s so hard to know if I’d like it. We tried the red rose macaroon I think it’s called and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten. It tasted like lipstick and perfume 😂. Even my kids were like, no mom. So many things are missing the mark. I haven’t found anything at DL this year that’s even remotely good. I’ve always stuck with the sourdough bread bowls in DCA and even they changed all of those up. So bummed. It blows me away that they serve this stuff when they can make so much money on food if it was edible. I’m just not spending $50 + for mediocre food. I’d rather live on PB&J. They can’t even seem to serve a decent burger and fries anywhere. Cold, burnt, stale…no bueno. Is California’s don’t know about traditional BBQ. The bread is just as you thought. So slop up your plate. Except, there’s nothing to slop up 😂

@@Eliza_sun I’ve never understood when people tell me that Disneyland food is bad. You all must have way more refined pallets than me. I grew up on canned food and boxed meals. Almost everything at Disneyland is fantastic. I’ll occasionally get something overcooked and not great, but it’s the exception not the norm.

I will say that I avoid Disney burgers and chicken tenders. If that’s the type of food people are getting, then yes, Disneyland food is awful. But there’s so much better food at the park. Don’t buy a burger when there are burgers everywhere. Get stuff you can only order at Disneyland.

@ I did too. I was raised by a single dad so he did his best. As I got older and became a mom..I have slowly began learning how to cook. It’s raised the bar for me. I really never ate the food much at Disney until recently…just wanting to try things out. I think my expectations were too high. Nothing is bad, except that macaroon 😂 subpar but not terrible. And not worth the money. Just my humble opinion. We’re new to the Disney vlogs…my son loves your channel. I think he’s binge watched all of your content this week :)

Bru what did your meal cost? an times that by 4 lol. Price for a single sitting, hope the kids don't get hungry twice.

@@anti-warhero7999 I ordered two meals. I only ate half of each and took the rest home for my wife. But it is about $18/person. So not on the cheaper end for Disney.
