Good Morning Tim, It is funny you mentioned that when you're filming that you feel like we viewers are there with you. Because as long time viewers many of us begin to feel like we actually know you and that we have become friends. It sure is a funny phenomenon that happens with KZbin and to a certain degree all social media. I hope all is well and thanks for sharing. 😊

Tim I know this is an older video but I was looking at a video of some Gnuse Manufacturing center links and this video came up. I noticed that you had an SMA brand cylinder. They are great cylinders but the one you spoke of that has a depth gauge is made by Gnuse Manufacturing in Nebraska. We sale and install a TON of these things at my John Deere dealership. Makes all the difference in the world. Work smarter, not harder. Lol. God bless

Tim you were talking about the chill in your shop. Right now it is 8 degrees. Later next week it will be the teens below zero. Your shop would be far colder than a chill.

Great video Tim. 👍👍👍. If you get the long tube heater that hangs in the center of your shop. I think you would be happy with it. I have installed a lot of them. They are simple to install. Later

Loctite 567 is for hydraulic fittings fyi. Teflon is horrible for this as if u get it into the hydraulic system the tape will take out your seals. Just a thought. I do hydraulic repairs for work thought I'd pass on a tip for u.

Nice video, thanks for posting. Did you consider a cylinder with a check valve? Not sure if it matters but in doing research for a Hyd. top link for my tractor I reviewed several cylinders that had the check valve. Seemed it was recommended for box blade use especially when using for a long period of time. The check valve is supposed to maintain the set position. Now that you have had it for a while do you have an issue with the cylinder not holding a set position?

I can think of a multitude of reasons why you wouldn’t but I still would like to know- have you ever considered putting your tractor to the test along with the box attached on one of the haul roads for the log trucks? Granted the weather will dictate when that would be an option and again I’m aware of the different category the dozier is in that you guys have but I was just curious as to if it was ever perhaps an idea for a video 👌🏾

That tractor belongs to me and the logging company belongs to my dad. I would need to be paid to run my tractor on the haul road. The logging company owns a road grader too.

Did you install the 2nd rear SCV’s on the tractor or did it come with them? Also did having the second rear SVC cause any issues with adding the 3rd function set up to the loader?

Seems like I've read that you're not supposed to use tape on hydraulic fittings -- that it'll cause leakage. Did you find that to be the case?

Where did you get the top link? Do you have any plans of getting a hydraulic cylinder for the side to allow for tilting left right? I've been looking at one for the box blade or grade blade. But, I can't decide if I want to do that or switch to a pull type box blade that has a tilt cylinder on one side. Don't really have anything else that could use tilt feature.

Drew w too many different types of fittings nowadays. Some dealers, especially in smaller towns like letting the small hydraulic shops get some of the business, helps them keep the wheels turning.
