But i would recommend to go back slowly, especially with milk if you have sensitive or bad metabolism. But dont be scared, just give your body some time to adjust 🙂

You should just eat what you want, what makes you feel good and what's best for your health. If you want to eat vegetarian, go for it! In my country we have a saying that says anything with 'too (much)' in front of it is not good. Too much candy isn't good for you and maybe too much milk isn't good for you (if you're lactose intolerant for example), but if you eat little amounts then it won't do much harm I guess. I'm now a pescatarian, because I don't want to eat meat but I do want to eat eggs, lactose products and fish. I won't eat lots of fish, only whenever I feel like it. And this diet fits me best. Also, I feel like conversation about food has become too serious these days. People attack each other on their diet choices and that's just wrong. Do what you want! That'll make you the happiest :)

Personally I tried to be vegan but it’s was hard to resist to all the food (I did it for like 5 months ). But then I changed and became vegetarian and I feel much better for the environment as for me. Nothing actually happened to me after this change. I mean I almost eat glutenfree so it helps my skin. But you should definetely try that by putting eggs or milk on your food more and more every day and see what happens ❤️

You can transition from Vegan to Vegetarien but you need to be very careful, coz your metabolism got used to a certain type of diet. you should start reincorporating dairy first ( and expect diarhea after that lol) and eggs and see if your body reacts well to it. Good Luck Qjin and Qwon! Edit: if you decide to reincorporate dairy make sure you don't start with whole milk ( try yogurt or cheese )

@@SarahxTonin check your facts. It takes a bit of time to transition from a certain type of diet to another ( minimum is three weeks) once your body gets over the three weeks mark it works on auto pilote. If you cut off foods like meats and dairy your body will certainly decrease the production of enzymes that digest those aliments. That's why after the reincorporation of those aliments, on the first few days people can get diarrhea and stuff.

I was vegan for around 2 years. I transitioned slowly into being a vegetarian, just starting from eggs, then some simple dairy products. But even now I'm eating mostly vegan at home, but it allows me to be more free and kind of "less of a problem" for others (especially people I meet for the first time). Honestly, I kind of was forced to eat some animal products, because I started fainting everywhere and my emotional health was very unstable. I'm getting eggs from small farmers, who take care of the chickens, and as for dairy - I don't have much choice, so I try to limit myself to 2-3 non-vegan meals per week. It really helped me get more strength! I'm trying to recycle more, buys less unnecessary things and use public transport to weigh out the animal products part :) Hope it helps

I wanted to be vegan a year ago, I did for a little while but I realized how few the options were, especially I live in a not so vegan-friendly country. But I didn't want to completely give up on a healthier lifestyle so I settled for a vegetarian diet, and now I'm really enjoying it! I don't crave, because I'm not limited to a few options, and tho I haven't completely closed my door to dairy, I can regulate and control my intake and sometimes find alternatives if I feel like I'm consuming too much of it. So yeah, that's it thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

Personally I was vegan for a year and then I transitioned back to vegetarian, and all I can say is I enjoy life a lot more now and don't obsess with food as much, back then I would spend hours searching for a place that had what I craved and not only was expensive but also didn't have the exact taste and texture of the real thing. As I didn't have any meat cravings I decided to just transition back to vegetarian and I'm very happy about it.

I am a vegan/vegetarian. I usually try to stay vegan for the most part of my lifestyle, so I wont go out of my way to have an egg, or a glass of milk. But, if a cake or bread has milk in it, it is fine for me. It was really hard to stay vegan when I went to France and Italy, especially resisting the yummy pastries and desserts. I just try to eat as healthy as I can right now, but when I really crave something vegetarian, I would have it.

Vegan to vegetarian diet should be okay. 🙏 Glad that you're thinking to change your diet, as you're feeling better 😊 But maybe you should drink milk in a small amount first, so that your stomach can digest the protein. Just in case your stomach will feel abit uncomfortable (bloating/diarrhoea). However, you may eat cheese or other dairy products as usual. Ps: I can never be a true vegetarian because I can't give up fish.. 😂 I can't eat other seafood though (prawn, cuttlefish, crab 💔💔)

So I have to keep to a somewhat restrictive diet (not plantbased) for my health, but almost all my favourite foods are on the no list 🙈 So what I do is I eat mostly according to the diet on an everyday basis, you know, fill up on what helps my body stay healthy and happy, but I let myself have a treat when I feel like it, or when I'm out and the options are basically not there. I had to ease into the treats after several months of sticking strictly to my diet to sort my body out, but there's a super important social and emotional part of eating that gets neglected after a while, so I think unless you go into anaphylactic shock or go into a guilt triggered depression (not kidding - that can happen) or something, break up the diet every now and again. It will do you good.

You two are so sweet and lovely ❤️ love how you edit your videos too! How long have you been eating plant based for? If you want to re-introduce cow’s milk and chicken’s eggs back into your diet, you’d have to do it very gradually and carefully. Because your body would no longer be producing much of the enzyme lactase, any amount of dairy could trigger a reaction in your gut, as well as skin due to the hormone IGF-1 in mammalian milk. Eating very small amounts to start and then slowly increasing could help build up that enzyme production but the hormonal imbalance mammalian milk can cause will likely always be present. Cows produce milk purely to feed their infants, it’s perfectly designed to stimulate rapid growth in calves (i.e to help a calf grow 300-400kg in one year!). If you want to find out more info on the health benefits of not consuming cow’s milk, have a look at the website nutritionalfacts.com as they present a wide range of research articles and thorough evidence. Also logically speaking, it doesn’t make sense for humans to drink the breast milk of another species, especially after weaning. As an adult human, you wouldn’t drink Mama QQ’s breast milk now so why a mama cow’s? Of course, it’s completely up to you what you do. I’ve travelled a lot (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, India) whilst eating vegan and I never felt like I was experiencing less of the culture etc. Quite the contrary, I felt like I was experiencing more of the kindness and consideration of the people. It’s mostly the sweet/dessert food and drinks that’s at all these funky cafés you’re having to avoid right? Like I advised earlier, introducing cow’s milk and chicken’s eggs slowly and in small amounts could allow you to enjoy these sweet treats every now and again. I’m sure you know about the website/app called Happy Cow? It’s a massive online data base for vegan/vego restaurants, cafes, stores, food trucks etc. for ALL over the world!! I just searched for Seoul and there are 176 vegan options to choose from, which is awesome! I know you two started eating plant based for health reasons but the ethical and environmental benefits of eating vegan are also amazing and wonderful! According to the United Nations, “a global shift towards a vegan diet is vital to save the world from hunger, fuel poverty and the worst impacts of climate change”. In a report by Science (a well renowned academic journal), they estimated “a vegan world would produce 49 per cent less food-based greenhouse gas emissions, 50 per cent less acidification on land, 49 per cent less eutrophication, and would use 19 per cent less water to meet our food-energy demands.” Eating vegan is the biggest personal action one can take on to reduce climate change and animal deaths. Did you know through animal agriculture, we kill over 56 BILLION animals every single year? That is an absolutely horrifying figure and a very unsustainable one too. Additionally the dairy and egg industry are abhorrent, all large scale organisations rely on the murder of baby cows and baby male chicks to make money. In order to meet the dairy demands of humans, female cows are artificially impregnated every year. After she’s given birth, her baby is taken from her within hours or a couple of days. Understandably this separation is emotionally devastating for the mother and child. If the baby is male, he’ll be killed shortly after birth for veal. If the baby is female, she’ll be raised to be a dairy cow, impregnated at ~15 months of age and the cycle starts again. In the egg industry, hens are specifically breed to produce lots of eggs (as oppose to broiler chickens raised for meat, breed to grow flesh rapidly). Chickens in large scale egg industries are killed after around 1 year as their egg production decreases, as such fertilised eggs are kept and hatched to keep the system going. If the chick is female, she’ll go on to be a laying hen and suffer the same fate as her mother. If the chick is male he is useless to the egg industry and is thrown on a conveyer belt and dropped into a massive grinder or gassed to death. When you compare these two scenarios, eating food containing dairy and eggs versus not contributing to animal deaths, I think the answer is logical. Additionally, like I said before there’s still lots of places you can enjoy cake, macarons, chocolate drinks and other delicious food without causing unnecessary animal deaths and climate destruction. I hope you two do more research on the benefits of a plant based diet, looking into the three main areas of health, environment and ethics. It’s a very important topic that needs to be addressed. Especially with a very recent United Nationa report stating that we have only 12 YEARS to limit a climate change catastrophe. Everyone please feel free to ask any questions, I am very happy to help or give you some research to read/watch ☺️
