This does get me excited. Lots of new things to plan to read. The Barakat is particularly interesting to me.

Robert, may I ask... In order to judge this category.... does one have to read the English translation? Or can it be the original language or a translation to a different language?

In order for us all to be judging the same experience, I think everyone should be reading the English translated version. (I wish I could read some of these in their original forms!)

@@BookTubePrize thank you for your answer. Im this case I probably won't apply for judging then, since especially literary fiction is sometimes hard for me to read in English. But Audio-Versions are allowed? I love following The Booktube Prize and thank you so much for bringing this to life and organizing everything. That is a lot of work and I highly appreciate it.

@@readacorn Yes, audio versions (as long as it's the same edition) are fine. We have a number of judges who suffer from migraines and read via audio. I myself use audiobooks - usually along with the text.

@@BookTubePrize I'll be watching out for the call for judges for this category then. Thank you so much for all the work.
