Hi Mila. I just received mg Dutch ID and BSN. And now waiting for a job recommended by my fiancee. My problem is I would really love to learn Dutch Language but my partner is not a big help on that and I am always alone so I do t have much integration with Dutch Taal. . I learn to study on my own thru KZbin and of course TV but itts useless I ended up feeling frustrated. Everytime his family has get together I always feel left out. I wished I could find someone who can help me out as I wanted to learn speak but at tje same time I am ashamed to speak in a crowd Hehe Thank you with your content though its helpful. Imee

Hello! First of all, don't feel ashamed. It's normal to take some time to learn the language and integrate into a new country and family. Secondly, what helped me the most was a taalcafé. This is kind of a speaking club that is free and usually takes place in libraries. There, you can meet people who are also studying Dutch and volunteers who are willing to help you. I must say that it might be busy there if you live in a big city, so your experience might be rather disappointing. In this case, I would recommend looking for a library in a smaller city or another library in a big city. The volunteers in my library were so kind and friendly; they made me speak my basic Dutch, and I really improved a lot. I know that you can also find a taalcoach there (a volunteer who would study 1:1 with you). However, there could be a long waiting list. And finally, you are lucky to have a Dutch partner who can help you. If I were you, I would ask your partner for patience and assistance in practicing Dutch. Even if your partner can't be a big help, ask them to talk to you for just 10 minutes in Dutch. You could discuss what groceries you need to buy or what to eat for dinner. These small dialogues over time can help you feel more confident with the language. Be kinder to yourself; it's okay to ask for help and take your time when immigrating:) I hope this will help you. Good luck!

Hi Mila, Thank you for your content. I will be writing the A1 integration exam soon. I assume this video is post the A1 what are the next steps? My partner is Dutch so she's my sponsor. I have one more question. With the MVV can you work in Netherlands? Best Regards, Naivedya (Nai is easier)

Hi Nai :) Yes, this are the post A1 steps. Well, once you pass your MVV A1 exam and get your visa, you come to the NL. Here you would need to get an appointment at IND to get your residence permit (I recommend to check it multiple times during the day because they often add extra avaliable time slots). + Your partner would need to register you in the municipality and get your BSN number (she should know better how to do it). When you get your residence permit at IND, you can start working full-time in the Netherlands. I hope I answered your questions, If not, feel free to ask more:)

After passing the exam, in how many days you got MVV visa? Do you work on MVV visa and what is the validity of MVV visa?
@milak5333
@milak5333 5 ай бұрын
Sorry for a late response. After you pass the exam, you apply for the Visa in the embassy. It really depends on the country. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks, sometimes it takes 2 -3 months. MVV visa is for 90 days to enter the Netherlands. Once you do it, you will get a temporary residence permit.

Hi :) For MVV visa you do only A1 exam. Once you arrive in the Netherlands and get a residence permit, you would require to do B1 (you will get 3 years for it)
