Is Ragnar a MUST INVEST? I'd say no, but definitely an upgrade to the current meta. But not meta shaping like Liu/ZL/Herman.

hi, as an archer main with kvk war ahead of me, im hesitant of investing in either shajar (replacing boudica) or ragnar prime (replacing guan) they havent convinced me, do i just keep my sculps?

i lean towards scipo liu , Guan Ragnar more. Skill dmg reduction and defensive stats on both marches.. scipo expertise will activate even if not paired with guan

Lots of allies will probably be using guan yu. For scipi/ragnar for the scipio expertise.

What about running Alex in front of Ragnar Prime? Ragnar is slow until he actually attacks. You could then run three infantry. WW/LC, Guan/Skippy and Alex/Ragnar

I actually think that many infantry mains will be moving toward three infantry marches in 2025. I don't think Guan is dead at all.

Single target is the commander that’s gotta go. Glad I skipped Wallace, now I think I’m going to go Guan/RP and Scipio/LC. Both marches have tankiness, march speed, debuffs, and DOUBLE aoe on both infantry marches. Guan gets benched on the next one

I'm pairing Ragnar with Sargon, considering I use 4 infantry marches in field, and here is why. Sargon needs AOE to spread his Awed effect(3% for each "tick" goes up till 30% of skill damage taken direct enemy or aoe enemy) If you play loosing rage or skill cycle back and run, well keep with your guan lol, never unlocked him and always thought it was over hyped. Ragnar/Sargon -Raw Damage- 2200+600*3 enemys max + 2500 within 5 seconds; -Attack 10% total kinda meh but don´t forget it´s the easiest stat to get(kvk tech even if your fp2/ runes/ infantry equipment/skin) you get my point; -Defense 50% total; -Health 20% total; -March speed 25% total; -Infantry Damage Bonus+Damage Bonus 10%+30%(10% chance from each basic to gain, max 3 seconds); -10 Awed does direct damage 1000, its easy to stack this with Alex around or Scipio that gives shields or when you get hit by a basic attack you also do 2 times the awed effect; -35% total less skill damage taken; -"New mechanic" 30% chance to drain enemy attack 20% + march speed 30% for each basic hit or someone hit you back. -Rage 70% will gain a 15% bonus to skill for 4s. For me yes fits very good in my pairings with Sargon , so I can have 4 marches with AOE, I see sinergy with both, and ways to increase both the damage output a lot. good basic stats overall. Another idea for me would be trying Ragnar with other infantry damage dealers with high % attack since he lacks- Could be easily Tariq with 40% attack and very good skill of 15% all damage; or Cheok, yes Cheok, unlike guan yu this commander people underrated him a lot never understood why, Cheok 40% attack, "revenge" aoe, skill damage reduction and also skill damage bonus that Stacks a lot, I know cause used Scipio Cheok for long long time. So would be: -Liu che/Alex or Gorgo; AOE -Scipio Prime/Tariq/Cheok/Mehmed; AOE -Scipio A/WW; Single target -Ragnar/Sargon with latent power talent tree(it works in skills that give additional damage over time or per second like minamoto first skill u can try it and see :). AOE -Herman/YSG/Tommy. AOE

That's a lot of text but yes Sargon seems to be the best pair, Drain effect to always make sure to stay on top of the target and additional damage on Ragnar to apply more awed

You can play your old commander for the next 2 years and still do damage, but there will always be room for improvement. You are looking for a commander that provides 40-50% extra performance and I am sorry to tell you but nevsky does not appear every day. Furthermore, these analyzes are almost always aimed at older players, as I said, they can play the same thing for the next 2 years without any problem.
