By "Ability Patch", I thought they were adding new Abilities to existing Pokémon. But this is cool. No. This is awesome. I've always loved the idea of Hidden Abilities but, outside of ORAS' DexNav, they're always such a pain to get. I just hope there's an easy-ish way to grind for them, though. I'm kind of disappointed that the old Legendaries are still version-exclusive, though. I mean, I already knew that they would be but it's still disappointing. I'm hoping we can at least get multiples of them without having to start a new savefile. And that they bring back GTS on the Switch, instead of requiring an external device.

A third DLC is unlikely because they’re probably moving onto a different game for next year since it’ll be the 25th anniversary of the series, but releasing a complete edition doesn’t mean the DLC will end. Mortal Kombat 11 released a complete edition, and it still has upcoming DLC. Jump Force and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 both got Deluxe Editions in Japan, and they’re still getting updates with DLC. Pokken Tournament on Switch is a Deluxe Edition, and it got DLC. Just because they release a complete edition, doesn’t mean they’d never consider more DLC

I’m so glad that ability patches are a thing! Not just for the Pokémon that you played with, but also for any shinies you have caught! I wonder if those mons will be able to pass down the hidden ability though, because if you use a nature mint or hyper train it, you can’t pass those stats down
