What's wrong with Canadians? Why isn't this being reflected in the polls? As little as I like Trudeau, Pierre Poilievre is VASTLY worse. VASTLY. In our cheap, second-hand Canadian way, it's like knocking Harris and supporting Trump.

Really good reliable polls are harder to come by in this day and age. It isn't like 20-30 years ago where people got called on the phone, didn't have caller ID so they just answered and more often than not could answer a few quick questions about voting choices. These days, everybody screening calls, not answering. So who are the pollsters actually getting? Mostly older white folks who, as it turns out, tend to favour Conservatives. But missing out on vast numbers of Canadians especially young adults. Young adults wouldn't have much interest in Pierre and the Cons. It offers nothing positive, just hate and bleak outlooks. Nothing for young people to vote for. At least NDP and Greens try to offer a more socially supportive, healthier environment plan for workers than any other right of centre party like Liberal-Conservatives. If lots come out to vote, that should favour the NDP and Green. If they stay home and 'don't care' then Cons probably win.
