Idk why others don't get the devs point of view. Yes, this was a free-2-play game but it still business and somehow they need to earn thru this game. I'm glad we can already trade 1-4 star diamonds card to complete the booster set and be competitive. Most of us get these 2 -star & above rarity cards without even spending. What they can do was to allow trading 2-star & above rarity with taxes thru trade-market where we can list this cards in terms of pokegold (paid). It was more on selling those cards.

This form of trading is fine. The rare cards are there for stupid whales or people who can show off their luck. The fact that all diamond cards will be tradeable is all that matters.

Totally agree, in order to put together any deck you only need the diamond rarity cards. So as long as ill be able to trade to get copies of the 3 diamonds i need dupes for and ofc the few EXs I need as well, im fine with any other restrictions. Who knows maybe every once and a while they'll have a 'special weekend' or something where the devs choose a random older set and allow full trading for those 2 days (maybe still exclude crown rares and some restrictions like needing 3 copies to trade). That way there's always a chance you can get a full art of a card you really wanted and it'll be a way for the devs to get around people making secondary bot/throw away accounts to use as trade fodder for their main account (since it'll be random, limited time frame and unannounced). I don’t think you guys realize not allowing trading to open up to 1-3 stars and crown rares will be a huge mistake. As a F2P completing decks is already quite easy. Pack points, opening packs, and wonder pick is very effective. Limiting trading to only 1-4 stars will only quicken this process and in term make your goal of obtaining all viable decks happen quicker. This paired with the lack of content will cause longer dry periods of no content or at least no real incentive to play the game. Meaning it will cause more people to leave the game. In addition, not allowing trading for the 1-3 stars and crown rare cards will make them much more desirable. Imagine opening a pack 50 times and getting 5 of the same 1 star but you end up missing one entirely. Not being able to trade for it will be demotivating for some and with trading allowing to get all the viable decks quicker will just straight up cause people to leave the game. You guys have to remember, THIS IS A COLLECTOR BASED GAME. Not a battle based game where all thats important is getting the most viable deck all the time. There isn’t even a competitive mode lol. Like I said, limiting trading is a horrible idea.

The only card i need for me to complete the mythical islands dex is a non immersive Celebi(cause immersive doesn't count in the 68 dex), i have a normal Celebi ex in my alt and I'm waiting for the moment when i could trade that to my main account

As long as trading is same rarity, 3rd copy only, I don't see the point of limiting trades. It actually makes pulling extra copies of the rarest cards more valuable. So people will want to open (and buy) more packs.

My personal hopes: Same rarity for same rarity Must have more than 2 copies in order to be a is to trade a certain card A per day limit on higher rarity trades Only with “friends” Can’t trade the new set until it’s been out for some period of time, like 30 days My biggest issue is the ppl with alt accounts who would abuse trading just to max their main account and I think needing at least 3 copies is one way to combat that. I’m also fine with the leaked trading rarities, knowing they’ll increase that as time goes by.

They should add a auction house like Madden where you can put up your card and list the card or cards you want in return OBO!! It’s so wack you can’t do anything with extra rare cards what am I meant to do with them?😒 A auction shop would be really cool cause you can search for hours looking for someone who wants something you have to offer. Like say you want to trade your card then you get prompted with a little binder to full up with cards and you select the ones you want to get traded for. Then on the side of looking for a card you see the auction house and click the card and see the binder and what they want!! I think that would be really cool and unique I don’t think I’ve seen a game do something like that

I'm actually surprised tpc will lets us trade 1⭐, thought it would be limited to 4♦️, some people expected to trade even crowns and 2⭐ but it was very unlikely since they are hard to get. It wouldn't surprise me to see people trying to sell crown cards if the game allowed to trade those.

For 2 star and above cards they should allow trading, but only with other cards of the same rarity or type. For example 2 star cards can only be traded with 2 star cards, 3 star immersive with other immersive and crown cards can only be traded with other crown cards. The limit should be reduced to 2, where in you need to have at least 2 cards in order to trade one. That way you are always left with one copy of each card. Edit: I wonder if promo cards can be traded? I sure hope so.

I think it's disappointing. But I'm not surprised either. Not that it matters. I don't have 3+ cards in the two star and higher tiers. So couldn't have done anything with that anyways. If we're going in with restrictions like this then no chance they let you trade cards from the newest set. At best we'll be able to trade from the first set and mythical island.

This is actually ridiculous. They wont make less money by allowing folks to trade whatever they want. This is Pokemon TCG Pocket, leading you to believe its a digital pocket version of the trading card game. Pokemon cant stop me from trading any of my real cards so they should not be able to stop me trading my digital ones. People who dont spend money to get everything from every set are not going to spend money just because they stunt trading. They will just go without those cards. I have multiples of things I would like to trade my friends who have multiples of things I want. If I cant do that it doesnt mean I am going to drop money to go back to an old, power crept set to get those cards. Its honestly silly. The only non-tradable cards should be immersive cards and crown cards
