Absolutely. India has too much of freedom & democracy which many people are easily violating it & law institutions are overlooking it by saying we've many pending cases to solve. One Jaychand example is last year a Quint journalist is supplying critical Army info. to China & he was caught by Delhi police. As expected, our India journalist Presstitutes(Ndtv & Gang) started their Randi Rona by saying Central govt is killing our FOE.😂😂 . Government should create an independent body under judiciary to deal with issues and Grievance officer of IT companies. Government should not be the authoritative controlling body here. That can lead to misuse of this new rules.

Judiciary is already overburdened with lots of cases, plus the DPSP mention separation of executive from judiciary and these are provisions of state policies (Executive actions) so it is not at all constitutional to create an independent or judicial body to govern these rules. How ever if anyone is not satisfied with them, he or she can file petition in Court

The provisions of the new Rules were very well explained. However, the absence of explanation as to why the Rules are being opposed, presents only one side of the issue. Explanation on the debate of 'Privacy vs Security' would have made this a holistic and balanced video. Technically, 'Tracing the Originator' without breaking encryption is not feasible. Thus, 'Tracing the Originator' would imply an end to 'End-to-End Encryption'. This is perfectly summarized in WhatsApp's statement - "We cannot trace the originator of any message, unless we trace the originator of every message." So, is it proportional to track each and every message, to trace the originators of problematic content? How do we balance the needs of Security, while ensuring the Privacy? Where exactly do we draw a line between what's allowed and what's not allowed? Without comprehensive Data Protection Law, how much leeway these new Rules provide to social media companies? This is a grey area, and there are no right or wrong answers, but this is definitely worth a healthy debate. The new IT Rules are necessary, but in their present form, we consider they are disproportionate.

I am unable to understand why twitter can't follow something as basic as putting a grievance, compliance officer in India. Why the people, govt have to ask someone in India and they refer to US on some compliance related info. Every company follows it in any European country. Its a collective thought process and execution. In this age of Internet there are many instances where Internet has played a key role in developing a country but if the privacy is infringed in the name of censoring unwanted false information, you should also expect the government to suppressed your rights.
