Mike is a big inspiration to me as well! I lost my job due to the GM Strike but I'm not letting that get me down. I just have to push myself harder to get to where I want to be. Glad you mentioned the factory having to retool for the C8. I know a contractor working on that at the Bowling Green plant. At least, a lot of that will be done on time or ahead of schedule so maybe that will help speed up deliveries once the strike is over and C7 production is done.

One of the local news stations here in Tampa said that GM announced the delay was because of two things. Finishing the orders already on hand for the 2019 models, and because of the strike. Here's hoping the strike ends soon. A factory running at peak numbers can crank out 400 cars in one 24 hour day. They can begin retooling as the last of the old models move through the line. Can't wait to see the new C8's hit the road! :)

If you want that jeep to be awesome then what it is you need to change the gear ratio in it and you need to heavy up the transmission little bit like put a new clutch in it took and handle them tires and your brakes that makes a difference for the big tire good video keep up the good work but we need to put some gears in that thing so it would actually seem like you don’t have no drag on the motor 👍

Mike I was wondering what you were going to find out about your C8. My buddy was told a delivery around May for his but he just ordered it 2 weeks ago. The Union gave GM a proposal Friday and we still have not heard their decision on it yet. I am thinking and hearing another 2-3 weeks unless they have a major breakthrough in talks between the two sides. One good thing about this downtime for me is I am sure getting a lot done around the house and for family that I did not think I would have time to get done before the end of the year working 6-7 days a week. I work in Fort Wayne Indiana building the Silverado and Sierra pickup trucks. Love the channel and all of the content. Can't wait to see what you do with our 2020 truck. Take care

it sucks that cars are being pushed back because of the strike, but whats worse is that all those workers, trying to support their family now, cant do it because theyre trying to make sure that if something happens to them, their family will still be able to survive without them. the workers on strike are sacrificing their money for a better contract, and probably a better working environment. not to mention one of the two parties couldnt come up with a new contract agreement before the previous one ended

The GM Strike is effecting way more than 50,000 jobs. I lost my job entirely because of the GM Strike, and I did work for GM at all. I worked for a company that made and supplied plastic parts to GM. Without orders from GM, there was no work for me, and ultimately I was let go. The difference between myself and the people on strike is, they're still being paid $250/wk. I get paid nothing.
