I would also say why we can't fast during our periods is for health! We lose a lot of blood, iron and generally some people experience very bad cramps etc so you need the food for nutrients and energy!

Do you find it difficult to cook for one person? I'm no expert but, I think a small amount of cornstarch would be a good replacement for flour to absorb the liquids in a pastry.

Omg aysha! You massacred a great dessert 😭 no flour pleaseeee. And caramelise the apple mixture in a pan on a low heat. Try it again x if you really want to use flour try turning it into a crumble so instead of the pastry rub sugar plain flour and oats together and pour over caramelised apple filling. Eat with custard or icecream 🤤

Aysha you’re not running out of motivation you lost it during this Ramadan. It’s okay though I myself start out with best intentions however, there are times I need to pivot. When you upload a video I’ll be here, just do you on your timeline. Try adding some acidity i.e. lemon juice for balance and some vanilla flavor. Love the test kitchen and the fact you didn’t edit the vlog.
