Cant speak for evry1, but for those of us whove put alot of time in the game, we know how many problems the game has. Were happy about the new island and update but theres alota issues with the game that need to b fixed and others weve asked for and get ignored.(2 of the biggest problems is the game randomly freezing mid race and costing alot of time and positions and another is the fact u can still fall thru the map wich has been an issue since launch) thats just 2 of the problems that havnt been fixed. The maps great but they spent there time on making mirrors work(wich most ppl dont play in 1st person vry often) instead of spending there time on somthing actually valuable to the game. The mirrors r cool, but there novel and most wont see or care about them wile the freezing and falling thru the map can happen at anytime.

​@@Drkfire_Ytnever had freezing problems unless played with the iGPU. Might be a VRAM thing. Although maybe I'm experiencing a small version of it with random frame drops which are noticeable. Hope they fix it. The clipping. Never had that ever. I hope they add back DLSS/FSR especially if it replaces TAA. A broken form of it was in the insider build and the option remains in the settings file but it doesn't do anything.

@Qimchiy the frezzing and clipping has happened to me and to quite a few ppl ive played with and it frikin sux. Somtimes wen u clip and reset ull get stuck in and endless loop of falling thru the map and the freezing can last anywere from 2 seconds to upwards of nearly a full minute and that destroys grs and can evn ruin times depending wen it happens.

What's crazy is the fact that from Kaena Point (most left point on the map) to Hana Beach on the new island, is 50km, and with a GP car like a maxed out RB14 with nitro chemist, it can be done under 10 minutes. While it's not yet TC2 New York in distance, there's already a sense of scale here, and much better graphics to enjoy. Also the new island roads are wide and the scenery is more open. Feels more like your hypercar roads from TC2. A round trip on both islands now can easily surpass 100km's so we are coming closer to TC2 New York, which would be 158km. WIth some improvisation, the devs could probably create a race with a similar distance as TC2 New York.

Obviously the best TCM update ever. Giving the Map Expansion as Free content instead of paid DLC, and an Offline mode for TC2 and Motorfest in the future, is a PROPER compensation after TC1’s shutdown. But it doesn’t mean that they’ll bring TC1 back, which still remained as a critical problem. And Working Mirrors are here, where players really wanted to have the best Cockpit camera immersion. But to people who still complain about TC1 being yanked out of their game libraries: There’s a Discord server that The Crew 1’s revival is in the works, so stay tuned for that.

@@FormulaProg Which is sad because TC1 was the same map, but had so much more in it. They removed a solid 3rd of the places & landmarks in the 2nd game. The ski hill, rocket launch site, carnival, a military base, mining quarry, even entire towns. There was also more detail in the buildings & more traffic in the 1st game. It felt like a lived in world and not a sandbox.
