Just got this in the mail today and upon first spray I’m agreeing with you. The bottle I got is kind of synthetic smelling, which is rare for Issey. This one is unique and different but so far doesn’t do it for me. Usually I’m never disappointed with Issey but this one idk. Maybe I’ll warm up to it

I would say neither as its more casual or just a work scent in my opinion. Sorry. You can still use it for a date but more casual like a dinner and movie sort of thing, nothing fancy.

I blind bought it, didn't like it and sold it on! I couldn't put my finger on what other scent it reminded me of but it was kind of like that smell of damp clothes left in the washing machine for too long!

Not a great performer but the grapefruit smells pretty good to me! Smells more green and just a little bit tart... But for a decant I am happy to give this a try! Bottle is absolutely beautiful to me and hope to find this for a good deal.
