Resting could come in, but I think it should require YOU to make a fire and rest near it. No one uses firemaking regularly as it is. This makes it less abuseable, keeps agility as a needed skill, won't screw over the price of staminas, and lets noobs and F2P a simple way to get their run back. Or make agility a F2P skill.

It devalues agility. All agility would be useful for after rest comes along is for shortcuts (which are very niche as it is.) This change would give people even LESS of a reason to train agility, and it would become the next runecrafting. No one would want to train it because it would feel like a chore. I have 89 agil on my main, and 92 on my alt and am very happy with the work I put in, as I rarely have to worry about run energy on either account anymore.

I suppose one or two musicians to rest at, placed only in f2p areas, would be okay. Make them as equidistant as possible. That solves the f2p issue. Members can always train their agility and use staminas, energies, lumby ring, poh pool or clan wars portal, etc. Also there's a lot of tele's available to members.

I would love to see the energy potions cost reduced and level lowered. Why not make it a level 5/8 Herblore potion? It would literally get people to level farming who want to do that AND at the same time be a basic herblore potion... But at the same time maybe leave that gap from low to mid tier empty and leave the mid to end tier potions in there with the stamina being the top as usual.

@@zacknesh9368 To most people yeah. but they are talking about low level entry idea for fixing stamina...You need 28 herblore in order to start crafting the basic energy potions. yeah they might not cost anything. but as an ironman. Hot damn is 28 herblore a stretch to start with. Im still only at 21. few more quests maybe and ill be good but for now it sucks..i spent hours just getting simple teleports like ardy 1 cape and ecto phail just to ease the burden of having to walk 45 min to finish some quests....

make character weight / worn equipment more impactuful on run energy usage and its regeneration rate... if you want to get around the map more quickly you would have to carry less items and wear less armour, and if you're doing something that requires you to wear armour like pvm or questing or passing through dangerous areas you would use run energy alot faster meaning more risk. and obviously have agility level have impact on these factors aswell as giving you access to gracefull which should give you a solid passive benefit for wearing e. g using 25-40% less run energy and 50% faster run regeneration while having negative weight stats.

The reason this idea doesn't work is that you're rewarding players for simply not carrying things instead of training/exploring. It incentivises banking your stuff and running across the map and grabbing stuff from another bank. It is great for skillers because that's what they do anyway. But for PVM and especially PVP, you can't just drop your food/gear in order to save run energy. You mention more risk in terms of PVM/questing because you can't run through a dangerous area with gear. Instead, you should be incentivised to bring gear to make it less risky (easier to tank). Similarly in PVP, it incentivises 3 iteming/1 iteming

It used to affect the drain of your energy a lot more back when rest existed in runescape, I believe that is what he's saying, it having a more pronounced affect than it does now. Say instead of a 10% increase in drain with full gear, a 50-60% increase in drain

Thats not how graceful works dude.. it makes the recharging of run energy faster 30% , but doesent make it drain slower.. it does reduce weight so indirectly it reduces drain ratio, but its not a set bonus like the recharge

​@@_NetPositive let's be real, run energy is only a real issue when : you've just started and need to get around to map, questing, clue scrolls... when you get to the late game you have access to teleports, and will have money to buy membership which allows you to train agility... maybe this idea would give agility more of an incentive to be trained. I'm not saying that if you wear Armour or carry items, you can't get around... you could even have the scaling set so that when you are wearing Armour the game feels the same way it does now and always has, but like i said : make run energy degrade slower and regenerate faster when you are not wearing gear. just so that if you're new or f2p and you want to get around. you have an option which is much less draining. even a 30% increase in run energy and regeneration time would make the game feel much better for new players... and will not really impact the game for current playerrs. (again it depends on how you scale the systems.)
