Just got mine in today. I'm in the first hour of it, opening sweet fruity coconut and water with mint, on the dry down you get that ginger and fig with that layered sandalwood, very fresh, green, clean, sweet but not overly sweet. I am happy with my purchase

Thanks old mate, great review! I agree with your ending comments. I picked up a 125ml today in a big box store in Australia. I thought I'd missed out and all the scalpers had got all of them. Saw one on evilbay for 300aud, picked up mine for 190aud. I bought a decant a few weeks ago and love it. Needed big bottle.

Thanks for the review, both subjective and objective. I like Le Parfum but sometimes it can be a bit much in the highest heat and humidity. I hope to sample this when it gets that hot but don't feel it's one I need. Maybe when it gets a good discount.

Bought a 125 ml today after I tested a 5ml sample in 3 weeks ....Just marvelous and fresh and thé fig is just perfect ... Thé only complaint I gave is thé longevity of thé first impression ....but thé drydown is still good .

Lively review Chris. Is there really green though? Bandied about now on lots of reviews but is it actually galbanum moss and green notes. Get your decant atomiser filled for holiday then and get that sucker reapplied lots. The only way to get through all the tons of frags we have 😂

Truly, nothing says luxury quite like a container reminiscent of a Campbell's Chunky soup can but who am I to say what good taste is? What comes out of the can is a bottle design that I can only compare to the dog breed of Pugg, so ugly somehow it has gained mass acceptance and is perhaps viewed as cute or kitschy. Now the juice, the scientific name of such potions, is excellent on average. I do need to pick up a bottle of Le Beau but there are too many on my list as is. XD

Le parfum is a masterpiece. There is a huge difference btw le parfum and elixir. Elixir is a great fragrance but le parfum is an art :)

Sounds potentially promising. I'm looking forward to seeing this in stores in the US, so I can try before I buy. I'm not a fan of the first two versions. I think the EDT is only OK and I dislike the EDP. I don't want to waste $ on another blind buy that just sits on my shelf with no wear.

I have to disagree. The Le Beau fragrances are stellar, and I could pick them out. Le Beau Le Parfum is a 9 out of 10 bruh. The Iris, coconut, pineapple. Its perfection. Great performers too. I wanna try this new one.

Yeah, I'm surprised by most reviewer's comments saying it's generic because I legitimately have nothing else in my collection that smells like Le Parfum and haven't smelled any other fragrances that are quite like it. Huge compliment getter as well.

I find in my own experience that most "weak" fragrances for much better performance once I let them macerate for a month or so. The longer I let it sit, the better it smelled and lasted.

As always, a great video from you. Regarding your assessment of the two previous Le Beau fragrances in the first 2 minutes: I don't look at the scent notes in a perfume and expect the scent to follow a certain direction based on an ingredient (e.g., coconut), it must appeal to me as a scent itself. It could be the greatest leather scent in the world even if its main component is perhaps iris and contains no leather at all (I'm exaggerating here, of course). But why have expectations based on an ingredient? And I'm not a fan of Le Beau EdT. Not at all. I meant that more generally. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of your content. Thank you very much

This might be a hot take but listen me out, at the start of summer last year I got myself 9 summer fragrances and non of them preformed as I was hoping, some of the fragrances I got where Bleu de Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana light blue intense and Versace Pour homme, I liked all of the fragrances myself but I wasn’t getting complemented for them, later on in the middle of summer I got myself Allure homme sport extrême and Le beau Le Parfum and let me tell you things changed drastically, the amount of compliments I was getting while wearing Le Beau Le Parfum where insane, I even had a college who said she just wants to stand next to me because of how good I was smelling, allure homme sport extrême is my personal favorite fragrance of all time but Le beau Le Parfum in my opinion is the best Jean Paul Gaultier, I just ordered paradise garden and I hope it preforms as well as Le Parfum

I think it’s awesome that JPG’s new releases are at least trying to outdo the last one. I mean isn’t that what we want as Frag heads???? I wish every designer would quit being safe or linear and always push the boundaries and let these perfumers use all of the technology and the best raw materials. These so called “clone houses” are giving damn good presentations and fragrances for a lot of times 10% the cost of our beloved designer brands. I don’t know about you, but life is short so why not always put your best into every project. If I owned a fragrance house I would hire the Perfumers that wanted to use the best raw materials and be no less than a Samurai warrior when it came to making and taking the crown in the fragrances in the bottles and the presentation.

I though this is the greatest Le Beau, a refreshing Le Beau like a Mohjito with fruits and pineapple and coconut water with ice. But unfortunatly apparently some of it came onto my tshirt and the next day it had an awkward vinegar/pickles smell on fabric😂 i guess it is the fig combined with ginger and mint when dried down. I didn't buy but received samples by JPG of Le Beau PD and La Belle PD.

Go buy Hawass then it doesn't come off and your clothes smells good for 30 days to point where you want a 5h perfume its all personal preference and so many times you buy a scent thinking it's good turns out shit and poor performance buy what you like not what other people like
